E/W in excavation of Trench by manual means in trenches for foundations, drians, pipes, cables, etc. (not exceeding 1.5m in width) and for shafts, wells, cesspits and the like not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5m , including getting out excavated earth and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed. (The Trench shall be of size 4 feet in length, 2 feet in depth and 2 feet in width at multiple spots. The excavation of earth is required at all the sites where portion of worn out pipe is to be replaced and also where welding of the leaking spots is required as the pipes are laying on the ground and the welder needs proper space beneath in order to have the proper access for carrying out the welding

Repairs to 200mm dia rising main at various leaking spots ( 06 no.) by way of gas cutting of the worn out portion of the MS pipes usng oxy acetylene gas cutting equipment and then providing and fitting of new MS strips if required using electric arc welding.The Job includes mobilisation and transportation of all tools, tackles, skilled technician required for completion of the Job.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in Trenches, plinth, sidesd of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating layer by ramming and watering, lead as per site and lift upto 1.5m. The rwefilling is to be done below the pipe after carrying out the welding of the leaking spots.

Modification to 200mm dia delivery pipeline by way of dismantling of 100mm dia sluice valve and then providing and fititng of 100mm dia blind flange (12mm thickness). The blind flange shall be properly bolted (provided with rubber washer) with the pipe so that the water in the delivery pipe line shall be discharged through this point as and when required and could be closed after the water requirement is fullfilled. Job also includes all tools, tackles, welding machine, gas cutting equipment, skilled welder required for completion of the Job.

Shifting of 100mm dia old worn out sluice valve to divisional store using private load carrier.
