Excavation in earth work in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution, etcetra and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried, out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformit with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road. clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials upto all lead and lifts in specified manner i/c arrangement of dumping site trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer -in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones,whether useful or not, for148.31(one hundred fourty eight point thrity one ) in all cases, @ rupees 170/- only(Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro- rata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavations for structure as per drawing and technical specifications clause 305.1 (Clause ThreeHundred Five point One) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as par drawings and technical specifications C- 802, 803, 1202 & 1203(Clause - Eight hundred Two, Eight hundred Three, One thousand Two hundred Two and One thousand Two hundred Three) 1:4:8. (One Cement : Four Sand : Eight graded stone) aggregate 25 mm nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weapholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm (One Hundred ) dia AC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 (Clause - Six hundred Fourteen, Seven hundred Nine, One thousand Two hundred Four point Three point Seven) ),including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 in granular material and as per direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
