Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Transformer and RMU in New Substation at Brahmapuram, FACT CD.

Disconnection and erection of RMU: The scope of work includes disconnection of power and control cables, dismantling, leading to out side, loading, transportation to new substation building, unloading,erection, minor chipping & masonry work, bolting the RMU etc. Supply of materials required for the job including foundation bolt, nut etc are under the scope of contractor.

Disconnection and erection of 500KVA Transformer : The scope of work includes disconnection of power & control cables, earth connections, dismantling, leading to out side, loading, transportation to new substation building, unloading, erection, minor chipping & masonry work etc. Supply of materials required for the job including foundation bolt &nut, foundation chanel, etc are under the scope of contractor.

supply and installation of LT switch board as per specification No. CD-ELE-PH1-LVSB attached. Scope of work inlcudes supply of LT switch board and erection of the same at new substation as directed by the site incharge. Necessary supporting chanels and hardwares required for the job shall be arranged by the contractor.

Back pulling of power cable. The scope includes open the mouth of hume pipe by manual earth excavation,cutting the cable and back pulling of power cable of size 3C/3.5 C, 11/1.1KV, upto185 sq.mm armoured XLPE/PVC from Hume pipe. The rate quoted shall be for the legth of pipes and not for the cable.

Back pulling of power cable. The scope includes open the mouth of hume pipe by manual earth excavation,cutting the cable and back pulling of power cable of size 3.5 C,1.1KV, 400sq.mm armoured XLPE/PVC from Hume pipe. The rate quoted shall be for the legth of pipes and not for the cable.

Retrieving of power cables. The scope includes pulling and roll back the cables of size 3.5/4C, upto 400sq.mm from concrete/earthen trenches. Cover slab lifting/Manual excavation of earth and back filling of trench after cable evacuation. The rate quoted for the length of cables.

Laying of 2Nos,11 KV, 3C, 185Sq.mm XLPE and 1No,1.1 KV,3.5C,400sq.mm PVC insulated power cable through existing concrete trenches/hume pipes. The scope shall includes trench opening, laying, dressing, fixing on cable trays /racks /risers /wall/columns /cable trenches , clamping, tagging, tying, drilling holes, minor civil work etc. The rate quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables. All materials required for clamping and laying such as aluminium clamps/nylon ropes, bolts, nuts, washers, cable tags, etc shall be supplied by the contractor.

Pulliing of 11/1.1KV, 3/3.5 C 185/400sq.mm power cables each through 110mm HDPE pipe. The rates quoted shall be for the length of HDPE pipe and not for the length of cables.

Providing new cable trench and laying of 2Nos,11KV,3C, XLPE & 1No, 1.1 KV,3.5 C, PVC insulated power cables in the trench. The scope shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 1 meter and a minimum width of 400mm, laying of cables ( 3R,3/3.5C x 185/400 sqmm ) and backfilling & consolidating of trenches after cable laying . The cable will be supplied by the FACT LTD free of cost at main store. The scope include shoring, strutting and dewatering if required, consolidating and disposing of surplus earth, all labour, materials, tools etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. The scope also includes supply and spreading /filling of sand in cable trenches, supply and installation of well burnt bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection inside cable trenches after laying the cables as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The bricks shall be laid to enclose the sides of sand bed and cable.Supply and installation of Survey stone/concrete blocks as Cable route markers ( size 15 x 15 x 60cm) above the cable trench in every 15 meters . The stone shall be painted with 2 coat floor gaurd exterior paint. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables.

Laying of 2Nos, 11KV,3C,185sq.mm XLPE insulated power cable through existing concrete trenches. Supply of 11KV, 3x 185 sqmm, heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits for XLPE, armoured, aluminium power cable. (acceptable make: Denson/3M/RAYCHEM )

Carrying out straight joint on 11KV, 3x185sqmm, XLPE/PILC armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits suppleid as per sl.no15 of the schedule. The cable joint shall be layed/clamped properly as directed by the Engineer in charge. The scope of work includes all materials and tools required for the joint.

Supply of heat shrinkable type end termination kit for 11KV, 3x185 sqmm, XLPE armoured aluminium power cable.(acceptable make:Denson/3M/RAYCHEM ).

Carrying out end termination on 11KV, 3x 185 sqmm, XLPE/PILC, armoured aluminium power cable using indoor type heat shrinkable type end termination kits supplied as per sl.no.16 of the schedule.. The cable shall be clamped properly as directed by the Engineer in charge. The scope of work includes all materials and tools required for the termination.

Supply of 1.1KV, 3.5C x 400 sqmm, heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits for XLPE/PVC, armoured, aluminium power cable. (acceptable make: Denson/3M/RAYCHEM )

Carrying out straight joint on 1.1KV, 3.5C x 400 sqmm, XLPE/PVC armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits suppleid as per sl.no15 of the schedule. The cable joint shall be layed/clamped properly as directed by the Engineer in charge. The scope of work includes all materials and tools required for the joint.

The cable joint shall be layed/clamped properly as directed by the Engineer in charge. The scope of work includes all materials and tools required for the joint.

Glanding and termination of power cables of size 3.5C x 400 sq.mm. The scope of work includes glanding , termination and connection of cables with suitable cable lugs, ferrules, arranging, dressing leads / cables and clamping/tying to supports etc. Single compression, nickel plated, brass type glands of suitable size, nut, bolt and washers shall be supplied by the contractor.

The scope of work includes glanding , termination and connection of cables with suitable cable lugs, ferrules, arranging, dressing leads / cables and clamping/tying to supports etc. Single compression, nickel plated, brass type glands of suitable size, nut, bolt and washers shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply and erection of hot dipped,copper bonded chemical earthing pipe as per I.S. 3043. The scope of work includes supply of hot dipped, copper bonded, chemical earthing pipe of size 76mm dia, 3mtr long, making earth pit, laying earth electrode & earthing chemical, providing suitable earth connection clamps, pit chamber and supplying its cast iron cover etc. Complete.

Supply of 650 Volt grade, 1C, 185 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable as per IS 694, with latest amendments and with ISI marking & Cable length to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer sheath.

Laying of 1C x 185 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable. The scope of work also includes drilling, minor civil works, routing through concrete trench, GI pipes,clamping earth cable in a spacing of 300mm using suitable aluminium clamps / GI saddles to the walls/risersons etc. All the materials required for the work including Aluminium clamps/GI saddles etc shall be supplied by the contractor.

Providing new cable trench and laying of 1c x 185 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable in the trench. The scope of work shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 600mm, laying of cable, supply and laying of well burned bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection, backfilling of trench after laying cables.The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables.

End termination of earth cables to earth pits/ strips/neutral link / body earth terminals and inter-connections using aluminium lugs. Aluminium lugs of suitable size (upto 185 sqmm), nut, bolt and washer shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of Pre-wired wall mounted 3phase 4 way, double door MCB DB complete with 4P MCB as incomer , outgoing MCBs, busbars, neutral and earth bars. Technical requirements of DB to be supplied: Degree of protection- IP 30 or above. Mounting - Surface mounting. Gland plate- Detachable type. Type of incomer- 4P MCB(32A) Out going MCBs- 1P , 6A -3nos, 1P,16A-3nos Dummy plates:6nos Rated Voltage- 415V Busbar: Copper Surface: Powder coated, corrosion and scratch resistant.

Installation of 3phase 4 way double door MCB DB. The DB shall be mounted on the wall using MS brackets/slotted chanel grouted/ anchored to the wall. The scope of work shall also include glanding and termination of incoming & outgoing cables on MCBs, connection to earth/neutral buses and neatly clamping of cables inside the DB. Supply of materials required for the successful completion of the work such as slotted angles,nickel plated brass glands, fastners, anchor bolts, Aluminium/Copper cable lugs etc.

Supply and installation of 4 core 10sq.mm AYFYcable. Scope also include clamping of cable through walls in every 30cms by using saddles and screws. All materials required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Supply of 650/1100V, PVC insulated, FRLS ISI marked, multi stranded 1.5 sq.mm copper red/yellow/blue/black/green wires. Acceptable makes: Finolex, RR kabel, Polycab, Traco,KEI

Supply of 19/20mm medium type ivory coloured rigid ISI marked PVC electrical conduit with all accessories such as junction boxes, couplers, bends, tee, elbow ,G.I/PVC saddles, screws,wall/ceiling plugs etc. required for the surface conduit wiring.

Installation of 1.5 sqmm copper wires. The installation scope shall include drawing of cables through rigid PVC conduits from switch board/JBs to light fittings/fan/plug points/junction boxes and termination of cables at the above points. Cables shall be jointed or tapped only at the junction box/switch boards. Care should be taken to see that not more than 6 cables are taken through a single conduit. The cables used for wiring circuit shall be standard colour pattern/ according to direction of site incharge.

Installation of 2.5 sqmm copper wires. The installation scope shall include drawing of cables through rigid PVC conduits from switch board/JBs to light fittings/fan/plug points/junction boxes and termination of cables at the above points. Cables shall be jointed or tapped only at the junction box/switch boards. Care should be taken to see that not more than 6 cables are taken through a single conduit. The cables used for wiring circuit shall be standard colour pattern/ according to direction of site incharge.

Installation of 19/20mm rigid PVC conduit wiring system. The installation scope shall include fixing of PVC conduits and its accessories to the walls / ceilings /columns etc. and neatly clamping at a uniform spacing of 450mm using GI saddles, tagging, drilling holes, minor civil work etc.Suitable sized junction boxes shall be provided at regular intervals. The materials required for the installation such as PVC saddles, screws, nuts and bolts, PVC bend, junction boxes etc shall be supplied by the contractor. The erection scope shall include, drilling holes, chipping ,plastering, minor civil works etc.
