REPAIRS TO BITUMINOUS ROADS IN ESTATE AREA AT O. F. CHANDA.

Repairs to pot holes, any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free form dust, mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 Kg/10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exceeding 30mm including rolling the surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, (Bitumen Make- IOCL, Bharat Petroleum, HPCL or equivalent) etc. complete all as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 KGs/10 Sqm, Contractor shall produce original receipted purchase vouchers for each lot of bitumen (Bitumen Make-IOCL, Bharat Petroleum, HPCL or equivalent) etc. Complete all as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for bituminous macadam 50mm average consolidated thickness with paving bitumen of binder content 4% by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 12 tonne power vibrating type power roller. Contractor shall produce original receipted purchase vouchers & test certificate for each lot of bitumen, (Bitumen Make-IOCL, Bharat Petroleum, HPCL or equivalent) etc. Complete all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 KGs/10Sqm, Contractor shall produce original receipted purchase vouchers & test certificate for each lot of bitumen, (Bitumen Make-IOCL, Bharat Petroleum, HPCL or equivalent) etc. Complete all as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete as per IRC-2000, 25mm consolidated thickness, with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne vibrating type power roller. Bitumen/binder for tack coat, priming coat & semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be bitumen of grade VG-30. Contractor shall produce original receipted purchase vouchers & test certificates for each lot of bitumen, (Bitumen Make-IOCL, Bharat Petroleum, HPCL or equivalent) etc. complete all as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L Pre-mixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand, mixed with 6.8 Kg of bitumen (paving bitumen) in hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using to 8 to 12 tonne power roller to a uniform and smooth surface etc. complete all as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for 2.5mm thick retro-reflective thermoplastic road marking paint of specified shade/colour with glass beads @ 250 gms/Sqm in Lines, dashes, Zebra crossing lines, speed breakers etc. not exceeding 20cm width using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi-automatic paint applicator machine fitted with profiles shoe, glass beads, dispenser propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator on road surface including cleaning the road surface free of dirt, sesals, oil, grease and foreign materials etc. all as per Manufacturer’s instructions etc. complete all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.
