REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF STANDBY DG SETS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT INA EZHIMALA

Notes for all items of BOQ:- 1. Contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender to know the working condition of the station. 2. All requisite safety measurers are to be adopted by contractor on site. 3. The contractor shall provide and deploy one number skilled DG Set technician (as approved by GE / Engineer-in-charge) shall report at 0900 hrs to JE E&M/Engineer-in-charge to collect the complaints of DG Sets at every working days. 4.The payments of DG Set technician is deemed to be included in the quoted rates on DG Set checking/Repair items and not included on S&F items. 5. Minor repair work and whereever supply only items by contractor for DG sets is to be carried out by DG Set technician. 6. The contractor shall also provide DG Set technician on sunday & holiday if required or asked by JE E/M/Engineer-in-charge. 7. If contractor failed to provide their DG Set technician or absent to attend the complaints / minor complaint within 24 Hrs, then the recovery will be effected at Rs 2000.00 per day per complaints. 8. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning/grass cutting/vegetation cutting upto two meter surrounding of DG Sets. 9. Supply & fixing items should be executed thorugh authorized rep of manufacturer only.

M&L for B check servicing by authorised rep of manufacturer of DG set of capacity 400 KVA of any make including replacement of oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, by pass filter, leakage, repairing any type & cleaning of radiator with chemicals,draining out engine/ lubrication oil, coolant flushing and cleaning of oil chamber, opening of tappet cover/ top cover tappet clearance setting with injectors, timing adjustment re-fixing of tappet/ top cover including replacement of tappet cover packing set, bonding and leak proof solution, oil pan/ chamber gasket at the servicing and other work comes under B Check service as mentioned in B Check by the manufacturer, complete testing after repairing all as specified and as directed. Notes for Ser Item No 2 to 10:- (a) Engine oil & coolant will be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ. (b) Replacement of spare parts mentioned above is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) Any breakdown occured due to any reason of DG Set, leakage through fuel pipe line, hose pipe, leakage through radiator, breaking of belts, bearings, lack of lubrication, greasing, starting problem shall be rectified by the contractor during the entire contract period and nothing extra shall be paid to contractor on this account.

M&L for repair/replacement of rewinding of alternator with super enamalled copper conductor wire of superior quality as per existing gauge, turn and pattern including main body winding, main rotor winding, extension field, extension rotor, diode, IVR, auxillary winding if required, bearing complete servicing including transportation from site to workshop & back and testing after winding for DG set upto 40 to 160 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of under voltage relay suitable for DG set complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of complete wiring with single core multistranded copper cable with flexible conduit for DG set of any capacities complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F and testing electronic governor controller for 40 KVA to 160 KVA DG set including taking down old governor controller complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down the old U/S actuator from its position and S&F new actuator for 320 KVA DG Set complete as per existing all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for opening the DG set of 320 KVA, repair to any leakage in radiator, greasing of all movable parts & equipments and replacing all flexible/steel wire mesh type hose pipes including fuel pipe line, belts & bearings including re-assembling the complete parts and testing complete and at the time of opening the following spare parts fixed, measured and paid separately under mentioned items complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only in replacement of old unserviceable lead acid battery of capacity 12 Volt, 180 AH of reputed make including charging complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
