Taking down carefully ceiling fans at any height 3.5mtr from the floor of any sweep/ make / model after disconnecting the electric connections and dismantling , cleaning the complete body and renewal of split pins , cater pins , coupling bolts, terminal adaptors, screws, nut sspring washers for blade/body etc and replacement of components/ accessories such as ball bearings, gun metal bushes, capacitor , canopy, shackle pins assembly and assembling all parts incl hanging and fixing in the same position and connecting back the electrical connections and testing for its safety ,satisfactory performance complete all as specified and as dirtcected NOTE (i) Spare parts will be measured and paid separately under relavent items of schedule under supply only (ii) rewinidng of the fans motors, painting will be measured and paid separately (iii) Labour element for fixing of spares parts and removing old unserviceable items are deemed to be incl in quoted rate (iv) Material, arrangements for safety tools and items required to work at heights is deemed to be included in the rates quoted. Each complaint to be supported with the job card of the under format and the rates quoted are deemed to be incl of necessary stationery chargers

M & L for rewinding of ceiling fan complete upto 1400 mm sweep with heavy duty super anameled copper winding wire of existing gauge including all insulation material , varnishing, heating greasing etc. cutting and removing the old burnt winding complete all as specified and as directed. Note: replacement of unserviceable parts like capacitor, bearing , bush, hanging clamp, reel & nut bolt etc measured and paid separately.

Labour for repairs /replacement of Exhaust fans/ fan louvers etc by using vehicle mounted telescopic / hydraulic ladder or heavy duty manupulator including skilled elecrican and helper ,electrical accessories for one day (8 hours) at different areas under GE(ND)(V) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note (a) Qouted rates are inclusive of hiring & transportation of ladder with vehicle ,manupulator ,driver,electrican,helper. (b) Cost of repair/ replacement exhaustfans/ louvers will be paid under respective item of this schedule (c)Item cost includes only removing/refixing exhaust fans/ louvers at more than 5 m height(d) Each job has no restriction for removing /refixing of any number fans, louvers etc inside one area for defect rectification

M & L for painting of Ceiling Fan complete upto 1400 mm sweep with one coat of white paint/existing fan using spray machine painting including cleaning, washing of surfaces complete all as directed.

M&L for painting Air circulator / Pedestal fan of any type and sweep from any position with one coat of white paint/existing fan using spray machine painting including cleaning, washing of surfaces complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for painting Exhaust fan of any size from any position with one coat of white paint/existing fan using spray machine painting including cleaning, washing of surfaces complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. .

Rewinding of Exhaust fan motor of sweep beyond 450 mm flame proof type with super enameled copper wire of appropriate gauge including replacement of insulating materials such as laminated lethroid paper, sleeves, necessary varnishing with golden colour varnish, replacing the bearings of suitable size, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in -Charge.

Rewinding of pedestal / Air circulator fan motor of sweep upto 600mm & any make, with super enameled copper wire of appropriate gauge including replacement of insulating materials such as laminated lethroid paper, sleeves, necessary varnishing with golden colour varnish, replacing the bearings, capacitor of suitable capacity etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in -Charge.

S&F exhaust fan PVC blades suitable for upto 300 mm size complete all as specified

The workers should be covered with suitable inusrancy policy by the tenderer and this will deptt will not be liable for any accident while repairing/ replacing the hightbay/ flood lights and rates quoted are deemed to inclu of all the rates to work of specific hts)

M&L for welded steel wire fabric to wall for the purpose of bird/ rat guard for exhaust fan complete all as specified and as directed

S & F in repairs GI powder coated louvers suitable for exhaust fans of 400 to 600mm sweep including replacing copper conductor wire complete all as directed (Note : mentioned as per item 47 above)

Note (a) The rate quoted by the tenderer for item Ser No.01 to 49 above shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:- (i) Though the time period for completion of contract will be as specified in CA/work order, yet due to exigency of electrical related items emergency/priority works must be completed (within 24 Hours) on getting information through SMS/E-mail regarding the nature of repair to be carried out he shall immediately respond the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 24 hours. In case of any delay in responding/ attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs 100/- per day per each work upto 05 (Five) days and Rs 200/- per day there after till completion of the work. Incase of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE.

(ii) Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple works at multiple locations of work at the same period. It is responsiblity of contractor to make suitable arrangement for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places.(iii) The decision of the GE as to weather of particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding. The above penality shall be in addition to the provisions made in clause 50 of IAFW-2249 i.e. (Compensation for delay in completion of work). Note (b) :- Tenderers/ Bidders are advised to visit the site and quote the rate accordingly.
