SCHEDULE 'A' PART - XIV (MISC ITEMS) (Note for items 14 to 50: The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)
M&L for road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick with reflectorising glass bends (glass bends @ 250g per/Sqm) to roads, pavements and the like finishing surface to uniform level and free from streaks & holes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- charge.
M&L for fabrication and erecting of sign board of size 1200 mm x 1200 mm (size of aluminium composite panel) erect in position as directed adopting the following specification / measurement (a) Main Post 2 Nos of stainless steel pipe 50 mm dia & 1.5 mm wall thickness of grade 316, length of each post 2.10 meter (1.80 meter above GL and 0.30 meter below GL) (b) Frame around aluminium sheet, fabricated with 25 mm size stainless steel square tube with 1.5 mm wall thickness including fixing arrangement for aluminium sheet and welded on main post. (c) 3 mm thick aluminium composite panel material consisting of 2 mm thick mineral core sandwiched between two Aluminium sheets (each 0.5 mm thick). The aluminium composite panel shall be coil coated, with Kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade on exposed face and polymer (Service) coating on other face, fixed over ss frame as mentioned at serial No (b) above.
(d) Providing both side of aluminium sheet High intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out massage (legends borders, letters numerals, site map etc, as per design and pattern approved) with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting, pasting as per manufacturers instruction. (e) Excavating 2 Nos post hole of size 300 mm x 300 mm x 450 mm in any type of soil and fixing of main post and filled with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone grade, removing surplus soil to distance not exc 50 meter and site clearance as per satisfaction of Engineer in Charge complete. Note:- Stainless steel section mentioned above shall be of grade 316
S&F road safety convex mirror made up of polycarbonate reflective mirrors and body made of ABS/Fibber/Plastic of size 100cm dia including MS pipe 75mm dia of 2.4M length duly powder coated embeded in PCC 1:2:4 of size 45cm x 45cm x 45 cm including excavation earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge

M & L for boring under roads/pavement/hardstanding without disturbing the top surface by trench less technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure for passing through the cables complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Necessary infrastructure reqd for boring shall be arranged by the Contractor at his own cost).
Supply and fix Synthetic Rubber insuldated mats 2.5mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and directed.
Supply install testing and commissioning of diesel Engine driven generating set 62.5 KVA capacity, 3 phase, 4 wire, 440 V, 1500 RPM, 50 Hz power supply with power factor 0.8 coupled directly to alternator mounted on a common base plate complete with integrated acoustic enclosures having salient features modular bolted construction with fabrication on imported CNC turrert punch machines, Nine tank treatment process with pure polyester based powder coating to ensure long life in all weather conditions and for out door application/installation. Integrated design thereby facilating/easy handling installation and shifting of the eqpt at site. The design of integrated acoustic enclosure should be of type approved by National physical laboratory as per central pollution control board (CPCB) latest norms/regulation with fuel tank, battery and standard accessories including cost of PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 foundation for (acoustic enclosures foundation Height shall be 800 mm out of which 500 mm shall be above ground level) as recommended by manufacturer , Vibration pad sand cushioning around PCC foundation etc all and Tools and spares as provided by manufacturer all as specified and as directed with the following specifications :-
(A) ENGINE : Water cooled with radiator diesel Engine (confirming to IS : 10001/10002) of 1500 RPM capacity to match the 62.5KVA alternator under NTP conditions with provision of 10% overload for 1 hour in every 12 hours running conforming to IS 6514/ IS 10001 / 10002 the Engine shall consist of the following :- (i) Fly wheel (ii) Flexible coupling with guard bolts and nuts etc. (iii) Air cleaner heavy duty dry type (iv) Radiator with guard and water pump engine mounted. (v) Dynamo of suitable capcity. (vi) Air cleaner heavy duty dry. (vii) Fuel injuction pump. (viii) Radiator fan (Blower type) with guard. (ix) Electronicv/ A1 class governer. (x) Fuel filter (Mounted).
(xi) Lubricating oil filter (mounted). (xii) 12V self regulating alternator belt driven by engine. (xiii) Exhaust silencer heavy duty residential type and retrofitting of emission control deivce as per NGT norms. (xiv) Corrosion resistor / scale inhibitor. (xv) Starter 12 V DC. (xvi) Lubricating oil cooler. (xvii) Lubricating oil pump (Gear type). (xviii) Turbo Charger. (xix) Exhaust piping shall be insulated with asbastos rope duly cladded with aluminium sheet. (xx) Instrument panel complete with the following:- (a) Auto mannual starting switch with key. (b) Lubricating oil tempreture gauge. (c) Lubricating oil pressure gauge. (d) Water tempreture gauge. (e) Battery charging ammeter. (f) Battery charging indicating lamp. (g) Hour meter with RPM indicator. (h) Safety control against high temperature of water. (j) Safety control against low lubricating oil pressure. (k) Over speed stop with double driven adoptor.
(B) BRUSH LESS ALTERNATOR (i) Alternator coupled to Engine through a flexible coupling to an indigenous alternator mounted on strong steel fabricated base frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation brushless alternator shall be conforming to BS-2613 or relevant IS-13364 (ii) Type :- Self excited self regulated with automatic voltage regulator. (iii) Rating :- 62.5 KVA at 0.8 PF lagging 4 pole hozontal at NTP condition 3 (iv) Speed :- 1500 RPM (v) System :- 415 Volts +/- 2.5% AC 3 Phase 4 wire 50 Hz. (vi) Connection :- 4 wire star connected. (vii) Enclosure :- Screen protected dip proof. (viii) Ventilation :- Self ventilated (ix) Insulation :- Insulation Class H
(vi) LED type signal lamp for DG set/ commercial power on off indication - 06 nos (vii) Copper bus bar of suitable size. (D) ONE SET OF ACCESSORIES COMPRISING OF :- (a) FUEL TANK :- One No of sheet steel 14 SWG and capacity to hold diesel sufficient for running 16 hrs running at full load including necessary piping. (i) Level indicator on fuel tank (ii) Drain plug (iii) MS class 'C' piping for inlet from pump to tank of engine (iv) Fuel strainer (v) Air vent. (b) BATTERY As recommended by manufacturers
(E) Acoustic enclosure - Acoustic Enclosure suitable for 63 KVA DG set as under. (i) Fabricated out of CRCA sheet of suitable thickness not less than 1.6mm. Polyster based powder, coated internaly and externaly with lockable type door handle. All nuts and handles shall be zinc coated. (ii) The door are gasketed with EPDM gaskets. The construction should be such that it prevent entry of rain water splashing in to enclosure and allows free and quick flow of rain water to the ground in the event of heavy rain. (iii) Sound proofing with high quality rock wool/mineral wool confirming to IS 8183 of density at 96 Kg/CUM covered with fiber glass cloth and perforated powder coats sheet specially desinged alternators (Sound controller) at air entry and exit of the container noise level shall be not exceed 75 Db at 1 meter distance as per CPCB norms.
(iv) Adequate ventilation to meet air requirement not for combustion and heat removal with prove of a blower. (v) Emergency stop push button outside the container. (vI) Provn of light inside the canopy providing of FTL fitting 1x20 watt with wiring and control switch. (vii) The canopy should be provided with light enclosure temprature safty device. (F) BASE PLATE Sturdy, fabricated welded contruction out of MS channels ISMC of suitable size suitable for fixing of DG set, required anti-vibration mounting pads shall be provided all specified by the manufacturer.

(D) ONE SET OF ACCESSORIES COMPRISING OF :- (a) FUEL TANK :- One No of sheet steel 14 SWG and capacity to hold diesel sufficient for running 16 hrs running at full load including necessary piping. (b) BATTERY As recommended by manufacturers c) Acoustic enclosure- Acoustic Enclosure suitable for 250 KVA DG set as under. i) Fabricated out of CRCA sheet of suitable thickness not less than 1.6mm. Polyster based powder coated internaly and externaly with lockable type door handle. All nuts and handles shall be zinc coated. ii) The doors are gasketed with EPDM gaskets. The construction should be such that it prevent entry of rain water splashing in to enclosure and allows free and quick flow of rain water to the ground in the event of heavy rain,
iii) Sound proofing with high quality rock wool/mineral wool confirming to IS 8183 of density at 96 Kg /M3 coverd with fiber glass cloth and perforated powder coats sheet specialy designed allenuators (Sound controller) at air entry and exit of the container noice level shall be not exceed 75 Db at 1 meter distance as per CPCB norms. iv) Adequate ventilation to meet air requirement for combustion and heat removal with provn of a blower. v) Emergency stop push button out side the container. vi) Provn of light inside the canopy providing of FTL fitting 1x20 watt with wiring and control switch. vii) The canopy should be provided with hight enclosure temprature safty device. As recommended by manufacturers (C) BASE PLATE Sturdy, fabricated welded contruction out of MS channels ISMC of suitable size suitable for fixing of DG set, required anti-vibration mounting pads shall be provided all specified by the manufacturer.
Supply install testing and commissioning of diesel Engine driven generating set 750 KVA capacity, 3 phase, 4 wire, 440 V, 1500 RPM, 50 Hz power supply with power factor 0.8 coupled directly to alternator mounted on a common base plate complete with integrated acoustic enclosures having salient features modular bolted construction with fabrication on imported CNC turrert punch machines, Nine tank treatment process with pure polyester based powder coating to ensure long life in all weather conditions and for out door application/installation. Integrated design thereby facilating/easy handling installation and shifting of the eqpt at site. The design of integrated acoustic enclosure should be of type approved by National physical laboratory as per central pollution control board (CPCB) latest norms/regulation with fuel tank, battery and standard accessories including cost of PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 foundation for (acoustic enclosures foundation Height shall be 800 mm out of which 500 mm shall be above ground level) as recommended by manufacturer , Vibration pad sand cushioning around PCC foundation etc all and Tools and spares as provided by manufacturer all as specified and as directed with the following specifications :-.
(A) ENGINE : Water cooled with radiator diesel Engine (confirming to IS : 10001/10002) of 1500 RPM capacity to match the 750 KVA alternator under NTP conditions with provision of 10% overload for 1 hour in every 12 hours running conforming to IS 6514/ IS 10001 / 10002 the Engine shall consist of the following :- (i) Fly wheel (ii) Flexible coupling with guard bolts and nuts etc. (iii) Air cleaner heavy duty dry type (iv) Radiator with guard and water pump engine mounted. Material and laboure for construction of valve chamber of size 1200 x 1200 x 1000 mm deep dimensions (Over all internal dimension) for sluice valve etc. with PCC foundation, PCC block masonry walls, Plastering, PCC Coping, white washing, mild steel chamber cover, painting to chamber cover including Excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified below:- Valve chamber shall be provided with the following specifications:- (i) Cement concrete for foundation (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick extended up to 150 mm beyond the outer face of block masonry. (vi) Chamber cover shall be of 6 mm thick fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) sheet with 30 x 30 x 5 mm size angle iron frame with hold fast and locking arrangement. steel surface shall be painted with two coats of synthetic paint of first quality over one coat of red oxide primer.
Supply & fix epoxy insulators with necessary fixing arrangements on wall/roof etc complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.
