M&L for taking down non working Ceiling fan of any sweep ( 1200 mm /1400 mm ) from any height , taking it to local workshop for rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge , including required replacement of acccessories such as Capacitors, Bearings , split pin,nut, bolts, washers, gun metal bushes, connecting wire etc and Spray painting ( to provide aesthetic look) of Ceiling fan to make it fully functional and refixing the same at directed place . Important Notes : 1.The rate for items like down rod, clamp , rubber reel, Split pin,Fan Canopy and Cover,nuts ,bolts and washer, connecting wire is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 2.. After spray painting MES No. and date of repair will be written on the ceiling fan in small size letters , This is the responsibility of Contractor. 3. The standard safety equipments to electricians / helpers will be provided by the Contractor without any additional cost to the department . 4. The tools and plants should be provided by the Contactor to the worker without any extra cost to the dept. 5. The contractor will make good of disturbed surfaces with whatever material required to matchup with existing surfaces without any additional cost to the dept. This condition applies to all the materials in the BOQ.

(iv) The payment of major items such as capacitor, fan blades, down rod, gun metal bushes , fan regulator, MS Clamps, Fan hook etc will be made separately.

( Note: The louvers shall be of shape, size and pattern as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge duly painted with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer).
