Spl Repair/Replacement of centrifugal pump set against BER Pumps and connected work under AGE(I) Lansdowne.

Supply, fix, commissioning and testing of centritugal muitistage pump set horizontal type suction /delivery 65x50mm, discharge capacity-46 cum/hr, 250 mtr head, including 3-phase energy efficient squirrel cage induction motor as prime mover, 415 V, S1 duty rating, energy efficiency level -1E 3 BEE star rated, ISI Marked 75 HP (55 KW) 3000/2900RPM as per lS- 12615 (latest edition) fixed to pump through jaw type coupling on base frame with pump impellor of phosphorous bronze and shaft of carbon steel complete with and including PCC (1:2:4) type B1 foundation after breaking old PCC foundation, base frame from OEM, GI Pipe inlet/outlet connection and copper cable connection including taking down of old pump set from foundation and removing from site and deposited to MES store yard complete all as specified and as dírected. NOTE:- (i) The work includes taking down of old pump set from foundation, shift to MES store of AGE(I) all Lansdowne and demolition of existing PCC Complete.( ii ) The work will be carried out at 15 LGLN pump house under AGE (I) Lansdowne.

S &F water pressure guage of range 0-40 kg/sqcm with díal size of 100 mm dia along with SS ball valve of suitable size complete including necessary arrangement for fixing on main header all as specified and as directed

Disconnecting and taking down the existing unserviceable non return valves of cast iron and S&F of heavy duty cast iron non return valve 100mm dia class "B' High pressure PN 1.6 confirming lS 5312-1 (2004) ISl marked, flanged end alongwith fixing accessories such as suitable size nut, bolts and washer and rubber gasket complete all as Disconnecting and taking down the existing unserviceable non return valves of cast iron and S&F of heavy duty cast iron non return valve 100mm dia class "B' High pressure PN 1.6 confirming lS 5312-1 (2004) ISl marked, flanged end alongwith fixing accessories such as suitable size nut, bolts and washer and rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and talkíng down the exísting sluice valve and S & F cast iron sluíce valve heavy duty doubled flanged 100 mm dia PN-1.6 conforming to IS-14846 ISI Marked with stainless steel spindle and two nos of MS flange of 16 mm thick, 08 holes with nuts, bolts, packing materials complete all as required at site of water supply instalatíons all as Specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down the existing unserviceable Air Relaese valve of cast iron and. Supply instaling and testing of heavy duty cast iron Air Relaese valve PN 1.6 confirming IS 5312-1 (2004) 1SI marked along with two Nos of heavy duty flange 16 mm thick, 8 hole suitable for 100 mm día with all TIXing accessories such as suitable size nut and bolts of 16 Nos, packing material of leather buffalo including cutting the existing water main of 100 mm dia for fixing the Air Relaese valve, welding i jointingcomplete all as specified and directed.

M&L Construction of brick masonry valve chamber (as per standard drawing) of internal size 900x900x900mm with sub class 'B' bricks in cement mortar 1:6 with 2mm thick MS sheet cover and angle iron frame made out of 40x40x6mm angle with locking arrangement duly painted with two coat of bitumen paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl necessary earth work and excavating in soft loose soil returning filling in removal of surplus soil complete incl 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in base concrete and 50 mm thick coping PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate) over brick wall top incl. two coats of snowcem rendering plastering work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for walling of square rubble uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidity hearted built in cement motor 1:6 for support for pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for angle iron work for support of water pipeline by welding at scattered location complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground. (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr depth below ground level at any type of strata ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15cm all around the plate. connected by 32x6 mm GI strip as earth lead by means of brass nuts and bolt,thimbles check nuts, washers including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm x300mm, 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320x320x80mm size (1:2:4) Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate rainforced with XPM all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1(2009) and specified including and provision of GI strip upto 7.5 mtrs long with 40 mm dia medium grade Gi pipe protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, medium grade, including all exavation and earth work and connecting the earthing strip to panel, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC(1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick rainforced with XPM weighting not less than 4kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover. (ii) Cost of additional GI strip more than 7.5 mtrs will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.
