REPAIR/MAINT OF LT EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION, OVERHEAD LINE AND LT UG CABLE AND ITS ALLIED WORKS AT SECTOR I TO XI AREA AT AGE CHARDUAR UNDER GE (N) TEZPUR

Amount

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. or for cable laying or water supply pipes lines etc or not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/ loose/ hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & spreading in trenches sand cushioning to underground cable in trenches including spreading, levelling hand punning down complete all as specified and directed Note:- Depth of sand cushioning will be measured after punning down and levelling the sand properly.

Supply and laying well burnt bricks sub class 'B' in trenches for cable protection of U/G cable all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges.

Taking out the existing ACSR Conductor /PVC/XLPE, 1100 volts grade, LT UG electric cable of any size and any type in trenches/ walls/ overhead lione (or) passing through pipes/in floor complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in- charge Note:- Excavation and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items:-

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -06 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleevs etc and size 25 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge .

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -06 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleevs etc and size 35 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge .

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -06 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleevs etc and size 50 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge .

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -06 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleevs etc and size 70 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge .

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -06 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleevs etc and size 95 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge .

Supply & Lay in trenches fixed on wall (or) passing through pipes/in floors connecting up testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated armoured LT UG electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100V grade of size 25 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Supply & Lay in trenches fixed on wall (or) passing through pipes/in floors connecting up testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated armoured LT UG electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100V grade of size 35 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Supply and jointing straight through heat shrink joint kit for PVC/XLPE LT UG cable for 150 to 185 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Supply and jointing straight through heat shrink joint kit for PVC/XLPE LT UG cable for 240 to 300 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

S&F in repairs Galvanised mild steel tubing, 'Light grade' of 50mm bore complete with all fittings, laid in trenches/ under roads, drain , paths, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washerws complete all as specified (Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measrued and paid separately)

S&F in repairs Galvanised mild steel tubing, 'Light grade' of 80mm bore complete with all fittings, laid in trenches/ under roads, drain , paths, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washerws complete all as specified (Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measrued and paid separately)

S&F in repairs Galvanised mild steel tubing, 'Light grade' of 100mm bore complete with all fittings, laid in trenches/ under roads, drain , paths, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washerws complete all as specified of the following bore (Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measrued and paid separately)

M&L for Boring/Drilling (Horizontally) manually/mechanically under existing road (Maximum 10 M in length) suitable for passing GI tubing of 40 to 100 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of erected steel tubular swaged poles of LT over head line (Except embedded protion), 9 M long complete including all MS mounted/fixed with pole, earth protection & water pipe (if exists) with one coat of aluminium paint and providing 07 Nos bands/ straps with synthetic enamel paint (black and yellow 30 cm wide each) from top of plinth block and numbering of poles with black synthetic enamel paint on circular yellow background of complete all specified.

M&L for danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with mild steel clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 250 mm X 200 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Road cutting for passing through pipes/in floors connecting up testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated armoured LT UG electric cable complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass concrete in M15(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate including formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cleaning of electric substation by uprooting unwanted grass, bushes and trimming of branches, surface dressing not exc.15cms deep in loose/soft soil to cut the grass,throne busehs and other any type of grass upto root level surrounding the installation and depositing the same at nearby garbage pit, refreshing and re-spreading aggregates inside the premises of sub station if any including cleaning of road/path/fencing etc, maintenance of transformer platform all as specified and directed.Note:- The item shall be excecuted as when required as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for writing letters and figures in white enamel of black Roman, Italic or Indian of 10 cm height including circular back ground with black enamel paint of two coats incl white circular border over steel/RCC surfaces of electric poles complete all as specified and directed.

S& F for GI earthing strip 25x4 mm with nut and bolts comoplete including taking down old one all as specified and directed by Engr- in- Charge

S&F of GI Strip ISI marked of size 32 x6 mm complete with nuts, bolts and washers,buried in ground including excavation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal groungnd level) with top edgee of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earth strip of size 25x4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No-5 of SSR Part I connected to machanery/equipments installed power house/sub station all as specified including testing on completion. Note No-1 the unit rate shall also include for excavation earth work in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pit RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 8 mm dia CTD bars @ 150mm C/C both ways funnel with 15mm bore GI watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI protection pipe wire mesh and copper lugs complete in addition to item No 1(a) to (e) of preamble ( Notes) Under sub heading earthing specified on SI page NO-389 of SSR Part-II 2004.
