SCHEDULE 'A' PART - VIII (MISC ITEMS) (Note for items here in after: The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)

Taking out/ Removal of existing roof treatment of any type of roof consisting of screed bed, tar felts etc, and removal of debris outside MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

M & L for Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded aggregate) coping /coping/ roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges with adequate slope on roof surfaces and finishing the top to an even and smooth as per manufacturers instructions to receive WPT complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 20 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing of liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions including roughening of old concrete surface by picking,sweeping and washing down with water to remove all dust etc & applying cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per Sqm complete all as specified and diected by Engr in charge Note:- WPC will be measured & Paid separately

M&L for cleaning of all loose dirt and dust from roof and priming the surface with one coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm conforming to IS : 3384 and applying a layer of APP based polymeric membrane not less than 3mm thick weighing not less than 3.50 Kg/Sqm, reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gms/Sqm) and upper side of membrane thermally insulated with white gravel finish uniformly embedded during manufacturing process. It shall be laid by torch application having side over lap 75 mm and at the end 100 mm, all overlaps and joints shall be sealed by torch application, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: (i) Coved fillets in PCC(1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate, of radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty/chimney/other vertical surfaces and there-after surface painted with hot paving bitumen of Grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73, [email protected] Kg/sqm over a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384 applied @ 0.40 Kg/sqm. (ii) Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 45cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall of brick / stone masonry and shall be finished by a membrane flushing. (iii) The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorized applicators. (iv) In case of stone masonry parapet wall etc a groove of size 25mmx25mm(minimuim) shall be made in coved fillet at the junction of roof and parapet wall/mumty Chimny/other vertical surfaces and polimeric membrane insterted in groove and sealed with paving bitumen. (v) Above aspects are deemed to be included in quoted rate. (vii) The net area of water proofing treatment shall be measured without any extra allowance for laps & portion inserted in groove which shall be deemed included in the quoted rates.)

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of concrete surfaces in ground floor and paving n.exc. 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing the same to a distance of 1.5 KM including loading and dumping/ levelling at the destination all as Specified.

M&L for 100mm thick cement concrete type D-2, 1:4:8 (40mm graded aggregate) as in Sub base all as specified and directed.

M&L Machine pressed colored precast cement concrete M-35 Grade interlocking tiles confirming to IS 15658-2006, 60mm thick, as in floor pavement, any shape and design, grey cement cement and pigment based laid on compacted 25 mm thick sand cushioning, laid dry to the profile all as directed.

M&L 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in floor/ hard standing etc all as specified.

M&L 75mm thick plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) as in plinth potection including finished the surface even and smooth without using of extra cement and complete all as directed.

M&L Non - skid joint free coloured Ceramic tiles (1st quality) not less than 7 to 8mm thick tiles of size exc 0.11 sqm but n exc 0.18 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match tiles over & including 15mm screed bed or bedding in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Non - skid joint free coloured Ceramic tiles (1st quality) not less than 7 to 8 mm thick tiles of size exc 0.18 sqm but n exc 0.38 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match tiles over & including 15mm screed bed or bedding in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slab or tiles like kota stone slabs and granite tiles laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar of any description or thickness in floors, aprons cills or plateform etc including demolition of cement mortar bedding or backing coat, including removal of debries to outside MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Granite work 18 to 20 mm thick (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in coloured cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with granite shade complete.

M & L for machine cut & machine polished kota stone slab 20 to 25 mm thick as in kitchen plateform, treads of steps laid over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6, jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with colour pigment to match the shade of the slab, rubbing and polishing complete.

M&L 18-20 mm thick machine cut kota stone slab in riser of steps, skirting,dado and pillar laid over cement mortar in 1:4 base laid and jointed with grewy cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing complete

M&L for rounding to edges of Granite/ Kota stone slabs edge, such as in steps cooking plateform, and other similar situation thickness of slab 18 to 25 mm.

Taking down cement plaster in cement or cement lime mortar on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, including removal of debries to a distance exc 1.5 Km but n. exc 2 Km. all specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 on brick or stone walls to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in two layers on concrete surfaces, 1st coat 10mm thick in CM 1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in CM 1:4 including WPC for second coat @ 3% by wt of cement and including mixing liquid water proofing compound in second layer only as per manufacturers instructions, finished the surface even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC will be measured & paid separately

M&L for 5 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 on ceiling, finished the surface even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls by applying chalk whiting, preparatory to distempering and evenly applying two coats of oil bound distemper (oil emulsion) on walls all as specified.
