Systematic maintenance of Railway track in the private railway siding of FCI at BSC PENNADA for all items as included in the technical specifications para 3.0 to 3.9. (3.227 ETKM x 12 months = 38.724 ETKM)
Rectification of damaged track on account of derailment including changing of rails at points and crossings and sleeper with fittings and fixtures ballast including aligning correction of cross levels and packing after satisfying the terms and conditions of clauses 35 Vol. IV if any payment is admissible then only the contractor will be entitled for the same. (The necessary cost for rails, sleepers, ballast etc. will be paid separately). a) Straight/ curved track

Opening of level crossing upto required width from centre line of track for replacement of existing sleepers with PSC sleepers including dismantling pucca road surface and removing of ballast, muck etc., screening of ballast & stacking the same near level crossing and disposing of all debris at the location, as directed by engineer in-charge with existing wodden/metal sleeper
Digging road surface at all types of level crossing surface, removing spoils upto bottom of sleepers and refilling soil to original level by proper ramming and consolidation :with existing wodden/metal sleeper
Dismantling existing check rail, blocks, bolts & nuts and stacking these in a countable manner, as directed by Engineer in-charge
Supplying pre-stressed concrete track sleepers to suit broad gauge with all necessary fittings confirming to railway standard and specifications at site.
Cutting foot of rail by gas or any other approved method for check rails with contractor’s tools & plants. Payment shall be made for length of cutting of foot.
Manufacture & supply of stoppers & other accessories, such as grip expansion bolts, brackets, packing pieces, bolts etc. as per standard drawing for fixing check rail at level crossing
Fixing check rails on level crossings with MS brackets, MS packing plates, bolts & nuts, spring washers etc. as per approved drawing & specifications, as directed. Rails, MS brackets, packing

Fixing of pre-stressed concrete sleepers/ wooden sleepers as per railway standards and specifications to broad guage railway track and Points & Crossings including opening of the track and removal of the damaged sleepers/ steel sleepers and stacking at site as directed. The rate shall include the cost of packing and forming the ballast formation but exclude the cost of PSC sleepers fittings shall be supplied by departmentally.
Deep screening of the entire existing stone ballast to a depth of 250mm below bottom of PSC sleepers upto the formation level (duly following the procedure as given in para 238(2)(e)(f) or IR PWM & Para 6.3 of LMR manual/ under traffic condition & packing the entire muck away to make up/ under cess in embankment including leading the deep screening earth in cutting upto a lead of 100m to make up cess at embankment and reinforcing the screened clean ballast back into track including lifting the track to the proposed 'L' section to get a minimum cushion of 250mm below the bottom PSC sleepers including aligning levelling and grading the track to approved longitudinal and transverse profile attending to one round of packing as directed by Engineer-in-charge to facilitate allowing train @ 20kmph ordinary track.
Supplying and stacking neatly stone ballast of 50mm for track in private siding along the track in private siding of FCI confirming to par 9.0 to 9.8 of technical specifications.
Spreading of available stone ballast of 50mm in dumping manure neatly over the track etc., complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Deduct towards cost of salvage value of dismantled materials received from specified items which shall be issued to contractor and shall be cleared by the cotractor from the site of workwith all leads and lifts complete as directed by the EIC as is where is basis
