CONSTRUCTION OF RCC ROADS INSIDE DIFFERENT COAL YARDS OF CPP (PHASE-1)

Jungle clearing :Jungle clearing including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, bush, wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 100 m outside the periphery of the area cleared as per specifications and directions of MIC.#.

Earth work in excavation over areas :Earth work in excavation over areas in all kinds of soils including soft rock but excluding hard rock by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means for roads, pavements etc., to required size and slope, levelling to line and grade, channelizing the water including dewatering if necessary, to keep the surface dry, stacking the useful material for reuse in embankment and disposal of unserviceable material to a lead upto 100 m and lift upto 1.5 m all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.#

Earth work in excavation in foundation :Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil including soft rock but excluding hard rock by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation, trenches, retaining wall, drains, manholes, chambers, culverts etc. including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, at all depths, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil within a lead of 100 mtrs, maintaining dry working area during excavation and for subsequent operations by way of construction of temporary trenches, channelizing the surface water, dewatering the subsoil water, shoring etc all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.#

Back Filling of excavated earth :Back Filling of available excavated earth (excluding rock) in foundations, trenches, plinths, etc. in layers not exceeding 30 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by mechanical means/ manual means, ramming and watering, including loading, unloading, transportation by mechanical means all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.#

Controlled earth filling over areas :Controlled earth filling over areas, road embankments, ramp etc. in layers of 30 cm to achieve dry density of 95% standard proctor density, at specified places as required by engineer, with approved earth from borrow pits or earlier excavated earth, including excavation at all depths and heights, transporting to places within 5 kms of plant boundary, loading, unloading, depositing, dressing, trimming, watering, compaction by mechanical means (Sheep foot/ Vibro compactor road roller having 10 to 12 tonne static load) with all bye works complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.#

Disposal of surplus earth : Disposal of surplus earth, dismantling materials, debris etc. generated during execution of work, including loading, unloading, transportation by mechanical means from site of work to designated areas inside plant, lead upto 3 kms, spreading, compacting, dressing all complete as per specifications and direction of MIC.#

Preparation of sub grade :Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with necessary number of passes using power road roller/ vibro-roller (8 to 12 tonne capacity) under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (standard proctor density), to the required grade, level and alignment including making good the undulations, watering, re-rolling the sub grade etc. All complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.#

P/L black granite boulders :Providing and laying 22.5 cm thick black granite boulders for boulder soling and filling the interstices with crusher dust including cutting, loading, unloading, transporting, segregating, laying, packing with spoils, preparing the surface, watering, compacting with necessary number of passes using power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity. All complete as per the pecifications and directions of MIC. (Payments shall be made on the basis of consolidated thickness of boulder soling)#

P/L P.C.C. (1:4:8) :Providing & laying of plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement:4 coarse sand : 8 stone aggregate) using 40 mm nominal size crushed stone aggregate, in foundation, plinth etc for all leads and lifts, including cost of all materials, tools, tackles, labour, centering, shuttering, mixing, transporting, placing in position, vibrating, finishing, curing etc, all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC.(Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).#

P/L design mixed M-30 grade RCC :Providing and laying in position design mixed M-30 grade cement concrete with graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size for RCC works, using cement content as per approved design mix, manufactured in fully automated batching plant and transported to site of work by pumping/ transit mixer or Self loading concrete mixer of minimum 4 cum capacity with batch mixing print out report for all leads and lifts, in all types of foundations, footings retaining walls, culverts, rafts, drains, chambers, roads, pavements, columns, beams, walls, slabs including supplying and mixing of plasticizer, super plasticizer / retarder as required, vibrating, placing of thermocol at expansion joints, removal of excess water by vacuum dewatering, finishing, providing 50 mm dia PVC pipe for weep holes as required etc. excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, etc all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of MIC.
