2 Repair/service and Maintenance to 130 TR capacity Chiller Plant for airconditioning of Auditorium installed at the terrace of GMC Jammu by way of testing leakage in the plant by filling Nitrogen gas in the system at a pressure of 1.5 times the operating pressure for 24 hours . First the entire system is tested at low pressure to make sure that there are no leaks and then high pressure is applied to the high side only and tested the system for any leaks at its copper pipes. Further the leak is detected by smearing soap/chemical solution all over the joints and pipes and observing the bubble formation. If any leak is detected then its plugged by copper brazing/gas welding method This pressure testing is repeated until there are no more leaks. The system is vaccumised before charging the refrigerant gas for removing air and moisture from the entire system. The system of both the chiller plants is charged with 130 Kg (approx) of R-22 (Refrigerant gas). The job also includes testing of cooling of the AC chiller Plants on full load.
