REPAIR TO CHAJJAS BALCONIES PARAPET WALLS ROOF TREATMENT PLASTERING AND PERIODICAL SERVICES IN HIGH RISE BUILDINGS UNDER AGE BR I OF GE ND VISAKHAPATNAM

Amount

The rates quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:- [i] The repairs shall be done by skilled workmen in the relevant field to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall engage sufficient manpower for the entire period so that progress of work shall not be hampered due to non availability of labour at any time. [ii] The contractor on getting information through Site order / Works diary regarding the nature of repair to be carried out, he shall immediately respond to the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 48 hours. In case of any delay in responding / attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs. 100/- per day per each work ordered upto 05(Five) days and Rs. 200/- per day thereafter till completion of the work in case of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE. [iii] Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple locations of work at the same period. It is the responsibility of contractor to make suitable arrangements for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places. [iv] The decision of the GE as to whether a particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding. The above penalty shall be in addition to the provisions made in clause 50 of IAFW-2249 i.e (Compensation for delay in completion of work).

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches pillars etc.., but excluding ashlar facings dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as directed.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (Below or above ground level) and removing outside MD land complete all as directed

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landings, chajjas and similar suspended work complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed

M&L for chipping of spalled and loose concrete and cleaning rust from re-inforcement by sand brushing scrubing down concrete surfaces with wire brushes cleaning with water allowed to dry applying a layer of zinc rich epoxy primer as antirust on all exposed reinforcement followed by a layer of bonding coat of a layer of epoxy FOSROC and NITOBOND adehessive on complete exposed surfaces of concrete and provide guniting in two layers over steel welded mesh 2 mm dia of wire and total aperture 75 mm, thickness of gunite n.exc 30 mm thick (average thickness) using cement mortar 1 :3 cement mixed with polycrete admixture @ 2 % by weight of cement or as per manufacturers instructions and finally applying cement plaster over gunite surfaces of required thickness to give an even uniform and smooth finish conforming to proper Geometrics in cement mortar 1:4 to match with the existing surface as in side and soffits of slabs,chajjas,fins,facias ,parapets ,columns and beams etc complete including necessary scaffolding ,shuttering necessary chased to brick work or RCC members at any height upto 10th storey buildings including removing of small trees shrubs etc complete all as specified and directed (Note: steel welded mesh to be welded with the existing reinforcement. The cost of welded mesh is to be welded with the existing re-inforcement is deemed to be included in the quoted rate)

All as per item No 5 above but average thickness of gunite exc 30 mm thick n.exc 60 mm thick complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed

M&L for use & waste of form work using steel sheets , steel bracing, propping etc around structural members where micro concreting to be done and keeping form work in position till required specified period complete all as specified and directed. Note : Form work shall be 100% leak proof and for the purpose of payment area in touch with concrete shall be measured.

Cutting/chipping the spalling of wall & concrete surface and trimming & cleaning the surface to receive plastering all as specified and directed including all necessary form work & scaffolding and safety measures and lowering down the demolished material for disposal and disposing the demolition material complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only MS chicken steel wire mesh of weight exceeding 0.25 kg/sqm and n.exc 4 kg / sqm complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed

M&L for RCC type B1(1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in cantilevers, parapet, lintels over 1.5 m span. etc complete upto 10th storey all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC type B1(1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs supported on wall, beams and column in floors, landing balconies , chajja,shelves and like upto 10th storey complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for form work to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, lintels, cantilevers, slabs, shelves.plinth beams,parapet any other similar works including supports etc. rough finished surfaces, flat complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed

Taking down of cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls, ceiling,chajja,roofprojection etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc.complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed

Cutting holes in to or through reinforced cement concrete for embedding balusters of staircase, ralling etc as required superficial area over 100 Sqcm but not exc. 250 Sqcm upto 10th storey all as specified and directed.

S&F stainless steel work , AISI-304 grade as hand rails, balusters, rallings complete design and pattern all as approved upto 10 th storey complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Mild steel Framed work ornamental and intricate design such as gate grills, gratings etc . with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290. Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed upto 10 th storey

M & L for brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar (1:4) complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed

M & L for brick work with sub-class ‘B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed

M & L for Precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 (Using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in landings, cover slabs,cooking slab,shelves and similar articles with plain faces and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete upto 10 th storey all as specified and directed Note : Reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia., and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips.

Complete removal of existing treatment and applying two coats of exterior emulsion weather proof paint [ APEX Ultima or equivalent as approved by GE ] over a coat of primer on external wall /ceiling surfaces and over and including two coats of cement base wall care Putty upto clear undulence including rubbing with sand paper to obtain a smooth surface and making good any undulations on the surfaces upto 10th floor complete as per manufacturers instructions and all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of internal wall and applying two coats of internal washable emulsion paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer including Putty upto clear undulence including rubbing with sand paper to obtain a smooth surface upto 10th floor complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing treatment over wall surfaces and applying Cement based Wall Care Putty on internal walls upto clear undulence including rubbing with sand paper to obtain a smooth surface and making good any undulations on the surfaces and applying two coats of internal washable emulsion paint over one coat of primer upto 10th floor complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash.

M & L for Writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) n exc. 30 cm high

M & L for Writing Stops, commas, short lines, dashes,hyphens, circle, brackets, etc.

M & L for APP based polymeric water proofing membrane 3 Kg/Sqm incorporating a centre core of 90 micron thick HMHDPE film including coating the surface with a coat of water based bituminous primer @ 0.1 ltrs/sqm followed by a coat of blown bitumen of grade 85/25 or 90/15 @ 1.2Kg/Sqm each at top and bottom of the membrane complete including sealing all joints by thermo fusion with minimum 10 cm overlap all as per manufacturer's instructions upto 10th floor complete all as specified and directed.
