Supply and fixing steel tubular electric pole, swaged type, welded type, 410 SP-55 (11 meter long) complete with CI base plate, pole cap, bolts, nuts & screws all as specified including the following:- (i) Excavation in post hole not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide & 2 Mtr deep for pole foundation & getting out in hard / dense soil, returning, filling in the excavated soil after fixing the pole in foundation, ramming earth around in layers n.exc 25 cm thick and disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 meters. (ii) M&L for providing PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 ( using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in base of pole of size 600mm x 600mm x 150 mm all as specified and directed. (iii) M&L for providing PCC 1:3:6, type C2 ( using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation 600mm x 600mm x 1800 mm (sub base as mass concrete) for concrete encasing the pole up to GL all as specified and directed. (iv) M&L for providing PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for plinth block /Collar above GL, 300 mm high and 450 mm dia or as directed by EIC complete all as directed and as specified. (v) M&L for painting of pole externally with two coats of black bituminous paint up to planting depth. The remaining portion of exterior shall be painted with one coat of red oxide primer and above plinth block/ concrete collar with two coats of aluminium paint including preparation of surfaces including painting of 30 cm wide black and yellow bands (strips) 5 Nos with synthetic enamel paint in alternate layers upto the height of 1.5 Mtr above plinth block and writting pole number and feeder location by white synthetic enamel paint with proper letter size as directed.

S&F ACSR conductor in replacement of any type and size stretching properly on insulators and binding with aluminium binding wires, jumpers including fixing on insulators on each poles in span and tightening with permissible sag in between spans etc complete all as specified and directed

S&F 11 KV grade, lightening arrester, expulsion type complete set of three including all fittings & proper earthing, transmission class, discharge capacity 65KA, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Stay assembly as in repairs for HT steel tubular poles comprising of 7/4 mm Galvanised MS stranded stay wire of required length, minimum tensile strength 70 Kg/mm (Grade 2 qualty) fixed to pole with FI clamps 50x6 mm size, bolts, nuts, washers, galvanised steel stay rod 20 mm dia and 2150 mm long, stay bow 400x14 mm, nuts, bolts, washers, galvanised steel plate 300 x300 x 6 mm size and two Nos thimbles, including painting of exposed MS work with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, with and including necessary excavation in hard / dense soil & disposal of surpluse soil up to a distance 50m, PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation and loop insulator of size 140x90mm vitreous porcelain (White brown or green) etc complete all as specified and shown in electric plate No. 1 of SSR 2009 Part I and directed.

S&F in replacement disc type insulator porcelain, vitreous in single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts of size 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pin type porcelain, vitreous brown insulator including one galvanished mild steel spindle, two galvanized mild steel washers and one nut, 150 mm height and 150 mm dia for 11000 volt grade, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 25 x 20 cm size complete all as specified and directed.

S&F anti climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of MS bars (round, square and flat)including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, fabricating, fixing in position cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates, fabricated from in structural steel section any type /size /shape including nuts bolts washers, welding, bending hot or cold, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as required at site, including painting with two coats aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide including dismantling of old unserviceable existing cross arms complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5M wide and not exceeding 1.5M in depth for laying under ground cable, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in any type of soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (Soil) n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.50m above the starting point, complete all as specified.

M & L for laying of dry, clean fine sand as in cushion or filling in trenches around underground cable, in ducts, inside sub station complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & laying of sub class ‘B’ old size bricks, laid flat i.e length of brick shall be laid across the length of cable for protection of under ground cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying in replacement PVC underground cable, XLPE insulated, screened with extruded semi conducting compound in combination with copper tape (0.3 KA for 1 sec) cores laid up, inner PVC sheathed, galvanised steel strip armoured, overall PVC sheathed electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded compact aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core, confirming to IS:7098 (Part-II) with latest amendments, suitable for earthed system laid in duct / trenches/ along pole etc. including making connection, complete all as specified directed.

S&F in replacement, outdoor type cable terminating jointing kit (Heat shrinkable type) complete with jointing material and accessary, suitable for 3 core 11000 volts grade HT XLPE underground cable size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm 3 core including testing after jointing, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cradles, hexagonal / rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making jumper on HT poles / structures with same / existing size of ACSR conductor with suitable lugs as required at site including binding spirally on both side of conductor including binding with insulator, HT poles minimum length of jumper wire 1.20 m complete including providing PVC coloured sleeve suitable for 11000 volts, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil with galvanized steel earth plate electrode size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to with and including galvanised earth wire 4 mm dia up to 7.50m by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part-I(2009) connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion with & including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 15mm dia. light grade pipe up 7.50m and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade with and including conctrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 tye C -1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate duly reinforced with 8 mm TMT bars @100mm C/C on both sides and cover flushed with the pit with suitable cast iron fitting handle. GI earthing wire shall be encased in and including light grade tubing with all fittings from earth plate upto the connecting point shall be provided & charcoal / salt funnel & other etc. complete all as specifed and as directed. Note :- (i) Item includes the cost of 7.5M GI pipe for protection of earth wire. (ii) Item includes cost of 7.5 M earth lead wire. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the quoted unit rate.
