APPENDEX- A -Repairs to surface drain and protective works to the d/s slope of dam near the conluence of toe drain of KA dam

Dismantling old plaster or skirting ,raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead as the direction of Engineer in charge.

12 mm cement plaster of mix:1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including disposal of excavated earth up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed as per the direction of Engineer in Charge:All Kinds of soil

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:2:4 (cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, etc. and removal of form for:Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc for mass concrete

APPENDEX B- Clearing d/s of spillway channel and construction of retaining wall at left bank downstream side of spillway channel

Excavation for spill way channel in soil with Dozer including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 metres (average lead 50 metres), including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections

Earthwork excavation in all classes of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas including getting out and disposal of excavated earth at designated areas or other suitable locations with all leads up to 1 KM and lift etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in rock and boulders above 500dm3 in size by non-explosive agent/splitter or any other method without resorting to the use of conventional explosive materials with jack hammer etc. drilling, conveying and disposing the unserviceable materials up to 1Km lead and all lifts, cost of compressed air, jackhammer, water etc

Wedging, barring, picking, chiseling, benching, etc of hard rock wherever necessary including conveying and depositing the spoil in the designated areas including all lead and lift, etc complete as directed by the Engineer in charge

Foundation preparation for placing concrete including chisel dressing wherever required at all elevations, cleaning the surface with compressed air and water, etc., and disposing the unserviceable materials including all lead, lift, conveyance, and labour charges, etc. as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 nominal size)

Providing and laying in-position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:11/2;:3 (1 Cement: 1 11/2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing .1:11/2;:3 (1 cement: 11/2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for:Retaining walls, return walls, (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete .Thermo - Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more

Drilling holes for providing anchor /dowel bars varying in depth and diameter in rock or concrete and cleaning the holes, grouting with cement grout ( CM 1:2) after fixing dowel bars including the cost of all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications and drawings, but excluding cost of steel reinforcement.

Providing anchor bars of varying depth using Tor steel, bend , jumped etc.. including cost and conveyance of steel , labour charges etc. complete as per the specifications, drawings, and as directed by the departmental officers.

PVC WEEP HOLES- Providing weep holes using 75mm dia. PVC pipes working pressure 4kg /sq.cm including cost of materials, conveyance, labour charges etc. complete.

Uncompacted backfilling with excavated earth obtained from the excavation with all lead and lift including spreading and levelling etc complete as per the direction of the Engineer in Charge
