Execuation in soil in hilly area in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, pick jumper work, pick jumper blasting work, jumper blasting work, blasting work (soft and hard rock) conglomerate rock including/ chiseling wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited), saturated soil and their intermediate classification of soil including ramming and de-watering where required as per the geometrics, grades and levels shown on the drawings, including clearing of jungles uprooting of trees, vegetation, grass wood trees and sapling of all girth upto any heights/depths and removal of rubbish up to any distance outside the periphery of the area including stacking the useful material along the road side and disposal of all unserviceable materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts. The recovery of 4488.08 cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- per cubic metre amounting to Rs. 13,46,424/- only, shall be done on prorata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected. Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super elevation and levels as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, filling of unevenness and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met within the excavation due to stream flow, seepage, rain and other causes, it shall be removed by suitable diversion, bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry.
