SPECIAL REPAIRS REPLACEMENT FOR THE RE-DEVELOPMENT OF BOREWELL AND ALLIED WATER SUPPLY WORKS AND PROVN CERTAIN REV AND MINOR WORKS AT MIL STN GANDHINAGAR

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exc 25 cm with soil obtained from excavation.

Removing excavated material (Soil) not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

Transporting air compressor and other allied equipment/material to and from the site of tube well installation of machinery complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking submiersible pumping set from bore well including column pipe, submersible cable and other accessories etc. complete all as specified and directed.

R.e-development of tubewell with air compressor of adequate capacity (not less than 250 CFM) as per specification till the availibilty of sand free clear water, subject to minimum of 48 Hrs of operation of air compressor complete all as specified and directed.

Stablization and yield testing of tubewell by using VT/Submersible pump of adequate capacity as per specification (subject to minimum of 10 Hrs of development with VT/Submersible pump) including condition of sounding test complete all as specified and directed.

Lowering of pumpset complete with cloumn pipe into well after completion of all operation and works incl replacement of nuts, bolts, washer and gasket complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of sedimentation tank by de-watering of muddy water using diesel pumping set and lifting mud/sludge from the bottom of tank removing the same upto 50mtr distance and depositing as directed, scraping down the wall and bottom surface, washing the same with clean water by using pressure sprey at least 2 times and removing the muddy/dirt water from the bottom and finally washing with clean water mixed with bleaching powder in the ratio of 1: 10 (one part pleachng powder and 10 part water) providing two coat of lime washing internally and writting the date of cleaning in 80mm wide letters in white colour over black ground complete all s specified and directed.

Cleaning of filter bed by taking out filter media i.e. layers of gravels, sand etc washing walls and bottom with clean water and finally washing with clean water mixed with bleaching powder in the ratio of 1:10 and relaying filer media in a decending manner only for with gravells bigger size are on the top and the gravels with smaller size are on the bottom with final layer of course sand size 0.45mm, depth 760mm, consolidated thickness - 15 Cum. (Note whole layer of sand shall be replaced with new sand, removing unserviceable sand from site and cost there of shall be deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate quoted above).

Opening and overhauling alum dosing unit incl replacement of motor gear box assembly complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying and taking out of pipe ductile iron, s/s incl specials, Class K-9, 150mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying and taking out of pipe ductile iron, s/s incl specials, Class K-9, 200mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, in repair, cast rion sluice valve 300mm dia with flanged ends class PN-1.0 with iron wheel, stainless steel spindle and check nut confirming to IS:780 including all jointing materials such as nuts, bolts, washers and gaskets etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, CI/DI fittings, bends, tapers any type (straight, bend, flange etc), Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and cblugs of size up to 300mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, desert cooler, steel body, electric driven (single phase) having normal air flow capacity of 4000 Cum per hour complete all as specified and dircted as per make as specified in Appx 'C'.

Supply and installation of split type AC with remote control, 1.5 ton capacity fitted with outdoor unit hermetically sealed rotary/reciprocating compressor operating on Refrigerant R-22/non CFC, electric driven , single phase 230 volts, AC, 50 Hz,Conforming to IS-1391(Part-II) with latest amendments, latested higher Star rated as available, capable of performing cooling, dehumidifying, air circulating and filtering including Copper tubing of both size, insulation sleeves and PVC insulated and sheathed multistranded copper conductor cable 2.5 Sqmm 3 core of suitable length etc of make approved by GE from the make specified in Appx 'C', complete alll as specified and directed.

M&L for wiring with and including multistranded copper conductor 4 Sqmm (nominal cross sectional area) single core, PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS cable 1100 Volts grade, ISI marked with valied CML number drawn in and including medium grade PVC casing and capping double lock type 32mm in size, fire resistant, ISI marked including with its fittings and fixtures such as tees, bends, elbows, junction boxes, etc. including multistranded copper conductor 2.5 Sqmm (nominal cross sectional area) single core, PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS cable 1100 Volts grade, ISI marked with valied CML number as continuity earth wire and including pressed steel sunken concealed terminal box with 3mm thick industrial laminated sheet cover for mounting switches, sockets and fan regulators etc. for one 3 pin, 15 Amps socket outlet point on independent board complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, in repairs, sheet metal enclosures, single pole & neutral with a two pin & earth plug and socket complete with one single pole, MCB of 20 Amps, 10 KA, 240 volts complete all as specified and directed
