Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Prices: Quoted price shall be inclusive of Packing & Forwarding, Provident Fund & exclusive of GST. The statutory levies such as IT etc., will be recovered at prevailing applicable rates from the bills. Please furnish registration copies of IT PAN, GSTIN, and Independent PF code. Quoted basic rates shall be FIRM throughout the period of contract. Any subsequent variations in taxes and duties shall be to the account of KPCL. No extra charges will be paid on account of price variation of material and labour etc. No price variation will be allowed whether in cost/labour/materials or any other factors affecting process or services

Terms of Payment: 100 % Payment will be made in the form of NEFT/ RTGS after satisfactory completion and handing over of work. Contractor shall furnish his bank account details along with Invoice.

EMD- EMD as indicated in the memorandum shall be paid online through KPP portal. a. The bidder may note the fact that their registration with any other authority does not entitle them for exemption from payment of EMD. b. If the bidder has not furnished the requisite EMD in the specified form as mentioned above, the said tender will be rejected. c. The Bidder or the tenderer is liable to be Blacklisted- i) If he withdraws his tender within the validity period as indicated in the memorandum or fails to execute the work after acceptance of the tender or fails to submit the Security Deposit. ii) If he revises any of the terms quoted during the validity period. iii) If, any of the document / information furnished by the bidder is found to be false after submission of the tender. d. Validity of EMD shall be 210 days.

Security Deposit (SD)/ Contract Performance Guarantee: i) The successful bidder shall deposit security deposit within 20 days from the date of issue of work order in the form of e-BG drawn in favour of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, RTPS, Shaktinagar, on any Nationalized Bank, for an amount equivalent to 5 percent of the contract amount. (plus, additional security for unbalanced tenders in accordance with KTPP act). This Deposit shall not carry any interest. The KPCL reserves the right to forfeit the SD in case of any breach of contract. If the contractor fails to start the work as stipulated, the EMD and the SD shall be forfeited. ii) Security deposit shall be refunded after completion of the contract period including guarantee period subject to clearance of all dues and to the satisfaction of the KPCL. If KPCL incur any loss or damage on account of non-fulfilment of obligations under this contract, then such losses / damages incurred by KPCL shall be deducted from the security deposit. The amount so deducted / adjusted shall not be refunded to the tenderer.iii) If the whole or a part of the EMD / security deposit is adjusted / attached by KPCL for any default of tenderer in the due fulfilment of the contract during the contract period, then the contractor shall immediately arrange to replenish the amount of security deposit so attached / adjusted for the continued operation of the contract, failing which the contract is liable for termination by KPCL, the responsibility for which shall wholly rest with the tenderer.iv) In the event of any upward revision in the value of the contract arising on account of increase in the schedule of works, the KPCL reserves the right to call for additional security deposit amount and agency shall, on receiving intimation from the KPCL, increase the security deposit suitably as may be directed by the KPCL within 30 days.v) All compensations or other sums of money payable by the Contractor/agency, under the terms of this contract may be deducted from his security deposit or from any sums that may be due, or may become due to the Contractor by the Corporation on any account whatsoever and in the event of security deposit being reduced by reason of any such deduction, the Contractor shall, within 10 days thereafter make good the shortfall in the security deposit referred to above. vi)The agency shall use the following beneficiary details for e-BG: Beneficiary Entity PAN- AAACK8032D. Beneficiary Entity Name: Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd. Beneficiary name:EE(CHP)E-1/RTPS.

The intending bidder should have satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor, at least one similar work such as Supply and Installation of LT equipment/ LT panels, of value not less than Rs. 3.44 lakhs in the last five years (2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26) in any power station/ process industry. As a proof of this, the bidder should upload a work order and corresponding work done certificate issued by the competent authority. (Work done of Previous years shall be given weight of 10% per year to bring them to the present price level of the financial year).

Financial Status

The intending bidder in his name should have achieved an average annual financial turnover of Rs. 6.88 Lakhs in any two financial years during the last five years (2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26). As a proof of this, the bidder shall upload the certified copy of the Profit and Loss or Turnover certificate duly certified by the chartered Accountant. (financial turnover of previous years shall be given weight of 10% per year to bring them to the present price level of financial year).
