Manning & Operation including maintenance of Polo Pump House with trained man power consisting of Centrifugal Pump Set - 03 Nos, Submersible pump set 02 Nos including One bore well, Chlorine Plant, DG Set, Valves and its accessories, electrical panels, starters etc on the following requirements :- (a) The pump house will be operated with one operator (Skilled) in each shift for three shifts in a day including Sunday & holidays. (b) Proper recording of all operating parameters in the prescribed log book/Register will be done all as directed. (c) The work includes operation of centrifugal Motor/Pump sets, Submersible Pump Set, Chloronome Plant, DG Sets, routine maintenance of machinery, distribution of water as directed, cleaning of area etc as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (d) Successful operation of the plant at the entire satisfaction of GE is sole responsibility of contractor. (e) Operator will be responsible for timely collection of Disinfectant chemical, POL, Engine oil from MES store yard as and when required. (Total No of units=01 installationx334 daysx03 shifts=1002)

Manning & Operation of sluice valves at water supply installations, over head water tanks including water supply net work with one experienced valve man in one shift including sundays and holidays as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at Beacher Road area. Note:- The valve man will operate the valves of OHT/installations and the valve's of the distributions network of the particular area at the timings of the water supply as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Total No of units=01 installationx334 daysx01 shifts=334)

Operation and Maintenance of Cheerbagh Tubewell and 331 Med pump house with trained man power consisting of Tube well , chlorine plant / chemical dosing plant, DG set, valves and its accessories on the following requirements:- (a) The Tube well and pump house shall be operated with one No operator (skilled) in each shift for two shifts in a day including holidays and sundays. (b) Proper recording of all operating parameters in the prescribed log book/ register shall be done all as directed. (c) The work includes operation of Tube well, chloronome plant, DG set, routine maintenance of machinery, distribution of water as directed, cleaning of area etc as per direction of EIC. (d) Successful operation of the plant to the entire satisfaction of GE is sole responsibility of contractor. (e) Operator will be responsible for timely collection of chlorine gas cylinder, POL, Engine oil from MES store yard as and when required. (f) The work includes cleaning of pump house area, maintaining of pump house premises as per direction of EIC. (g) ) In case of power break down the contractor will liaise MRS to restore the power supply for running of plants. (Total No of units=01 installationx334 daysx02 shifts=668)

Providing manpower one pipe filter skilled to attend external water supply day to day complaints received at following complaints cells including sunday & Holidays. (a) Beacher Road complaint cell -01 No pipe fitter (skilled) for one shift. Timing 0900hrs to 1700hrs (Total No of units=01 installationx334 daysx01 shift=334)

Notes for item 01 to 04:- (i) The Contractor shall be liable to pay wages not less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/ concerned State Government /Local Body, whichever is higher and applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under labour laws. (ii) The prevailing rate/wage/contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date.

(a) The installations includes operation of centrifugal pump sets, motor, Chlorine Plant, DG Sets and other machines/ equipments, valves etc as mentioned above and installed at site, routine maintenance of machinery, distribution of water for the period / shifts as specifid in the Items as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (b) The contractor shall employ ITI qualified Electrician with 5 years experience to operate the respective installations. Valveman having adequate experience to operate the above said system shall be deployed under respective item. (c) The operators deployed shall be well conversant with operation of installations and plant and shall be responsible for any normal maintenance of existing installations including DG sets. (d) Operators shall be responsible for proper recording of all operating parameters and test results in the prescribed log sheet /register all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(e) In case of absence of an operator during a shift, payment of that shift shall not be made. (f) In addition to deduction of payment as above a panelty of Rs. 1500/- per shift shall be levied for absent period. (g) The rates quoted by the contractor shall include employment of a reliever as per labour law and nothing extra shall be paid on this account . (h) Contractor will be responsible for timely collection of chemicals, POL, Engine Oil from MES Store Yard as and when required. (j) The rate also include regular greasing and oiling of pump sets, motors gland packing for pump sets. However, other repairs/maint store required shall be measured and paid separately. The contractor shall be responsible for the complete security of the plant including necessary watch and ward, maintenance of garden lawn etc.

Supply & fixing of lead acid battery 12 Volts, 180 AH including 02 duly initial charging of the battery and fixing to its position complete all as specified and directed. Make : EXIDE/CHAMPION/AMARON

Supply only Calcium Hypo Chlorite having 65%-70% Chlorine Content (Calcium based granular disinfectant) for general water treatment & swimming pool water treatment, in factory sealed container/drum (45 kg packing), complete all as specified and directed. Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 100mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well ( up to 450 feet depth of pump set from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (ii) Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 40, The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes and new MS flanges if any required shall be measured & paid separately.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling mechanically and electrically, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, welding , etc of broken steel sections of pump, reassembling the Pump & motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for 40 to 75 HP capacity, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 HZ, AC supply pumps & motors of make KSB/SU/CALAMA/KIRLOSKAR.

Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these items. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) (a) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & fro of pumps/ motors to workshop for necessary repairs. (b) The rate quoted for the item shall include re-metaling of Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to match with Bush/Neck-ring/ sleeve etc (iv) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' (v) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts i.e. washers, keys for coupling, cable packing ring etc.
