Excavation in trenches for laying of cables, pipes and manholes in any type of soil n. exc 1.50 metres wide and but exc 1.50 metres deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches for pipes and manholes in any type of soil n.exc 1.50 metres wide and but exc 1.5 metre deep and not exc 3.00 metre deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cms thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 metres and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5metres above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of concrete/ steel poles/ struts any size including insulators and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to under ground cables provided with a layer of sand 8 cms thick before laying the cable and 15 cms thick after laying the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Sub class ‘B brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick, complete all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete M-7.5 nominal mix, type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, stays, posts and struts etc. and as in mass concrete, complete all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-15, nominal mix, B-0 using 12.5mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as, in lintels upto 1.5 metre clear span, steps, seismic and other similar bends, coping, bands plates for serving hold fasts, filling in mild steel frames etc. and the like including weathering slighting rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified. Note:- (i) The unit rate include for use of form work (straight or curved). (ii) Reinforcement if any shall be measured and paid separately.

Mild steel galvanised iron tubing light grade for cable protection as in road crossing, along poles, walls, floors drain of 80 mm size complete all as specified and directed. Make as mentioned in Appendix 'C'.

Steel tubular swaged poles complete with base plate 8mm thick welded with pole, finial taper plug, bolt, nut and screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11m long) including one coat of red-oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats of aluminium paint on surfaces exposed to view and making 30cm wide strips (total 5 Nos) with yellow and black paint alternately on external surface above PCC benching and numbering with black paint and painting with bituminous paint internally complete and externally for portion embedded in PCC, complete all as specified and directed.

Structural steel work as in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plate fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed by Engineer-in-Charge and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of surfaces and dismantling old structural steel work in cross arms and stacking at site, complete all as specified & directed.

XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts (Earthed), grade cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core, laid in trenches or passing through pipes/ ducts or fixed to walls/ poles complete including testing and taking out old unservicable cable, cable covers complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & Earth work, cable cover, GI pipe and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separetly under respective Items of BOQ.

Renewal lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp for 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning gang operated air break off load connecting switch HT, 11KV, tripple pole, each plate consisting galvanised steel base, verticle type mounted on 15 No's post insulators and steel frame, non ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing horns complete with dropout fuse element assembly, operating rod of GI pipe, medium grade, 20 mm dia (without joint) of suitable size and locking arrangement, connections, mild steel frame with PG clamps and sleeves etc required for current rating 200 amps capacity including taking down unservicable steel frame all as specified and directed.

Renewal of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sqmm, complete all as specified.

Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with mild steel clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20cm size, complete all as specified.

Cable route indicator made out of 2 mm thick mild steel sheet of size 20 cms X 15 cms duly coated with two coats of black paint over a coat of red oxide primer duly written the size of LT cable in white paint and welded to equal angle of size 30X30X3mm, 45 cms long and errected in ground in such a way that it is 15 cms above ground level and 30 cms below ground level. The portion below ground level should be embedded in plain cement concrete M-15, type B-I, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate of size 15 cms X 20 cms X 45 cms all as specified & directed. Note:- Cost of PCC and earth work & excavation shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by contractor.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connecting to galvanised iron wire 4.0mm dia (as earth lead wire), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised and earth wire protected by provision of galvanised iron pipe light grade, 15 mm bore including provn of concrete pit in plain cement concrete M-15 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of rainforced cement concrete M-15 reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia mild steel bar handle made to shape, galvanised iron medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and including earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion.
