REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT AND CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE (WEST) BAREILLY.

Dismantling of roof terracing cement / brick concrete (un-reinforced) and existing water proofing treatment of any thickness in any position and of any portion from top of roof of building, cleaning surface of roof with wire brush / mechanical brush and with water thoroughly to remove all dust / dirt and loose particles to expose base concrete roof slab and removal of rubbish / demolished material out of MD land complete all as specified.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.50 mm stone aggregate) as in, levelling course with to be finished even and fair without using extra cement on roof surface / chajja (thickness of concrete will be provided as per site requirement and as directed by engr-in-charge) roof kerbs, coping, benching etc including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 10 mm thick cement plaster on brick surfaces or concrete surfaces in cm (1:4) with and including using WPC @ 200 ml per 50 kg of cement finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed, Note :- WPC shall not be paid separately for this item.

Supply and providing water proofing treatment with polyster based water waterproofing membrane standard water proofing membrane 3 mm thick, wt not less than 3.5 kg/ sqm having 10 years guarantee for water tightness all as specified and directed and described as under : (a) Prepartion of RCC roof surface and applying one coat of polymer modified bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm over a coat of polymer primer @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm including cleaning surface, all as per manufacture's specification complete all as specified and directed. (b) Supply & Providing APP based polyster based water waterproofing membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by forced/ torch application of membrane with 10 cm overlaps as required thereof, complete all as specified or as directed. Note :- Application to be done through authoried apllicator manufacturer.

M&L for applying two coat of Aluminium paint over a APP membrane surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth as specified and directed

M & L for heat reflective weathering tile minimum 250 x 250 x 20 mm thick, fixed with neat cement slurry over laid over 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 on roof top and joints shall be 4mm wide, sealed with 2 mm deep polysulphide compound (sealing compound) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of weather proof paint over a coat of primer including a coat of 2 mm thick putty as per manufacturer instructions of any description complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting of existing tank and fixing after roof treatment including all fittings complete all as specified and as directed

Taking up or down steel tubing, bore of pipe 15 mm and connections, including cleaning for re fixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 15mm bore tubes medium grade galvanised iron with all new fitting and fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified or as directed.

Cleaning of roof/ walls of any size buildings including complete removal plants grown with roots and treated with lime and filling the hole properly by cement mortar 1:3. Note: After completing the job user signature should be taken on record register

Dismantling of cast iron /PVC/AC/SGSW pipes 100mm dia jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required complete all as specified and directed.

S&F PVC(SWR) 110mm dia soil waste and rainwater drainage pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joint fixed to wall including clamps complete all as specified and directed

S&F PVC (SWR) 110mm dia bends complete all as specified and directed.

Notes:- (a) Materials not included in sch of credit and debris from the dismantling having lowest value/Nil value shall be the property of department. The same shall be removed/ disposed or deposited by the contractor in MES stores yard of GE (West) Bareilly as directed for which no additional payment shall be made. The contracotor shall be fully responsible to safe guard these materials against losses/theft/deterioration etc till the same are deposited by him in MES Store yard (b) The contractor or his authorized representative shall attend office of AGE B/R for collection of complaints raised by user on regular basis and same has to be rectified /completed on requirement basis. If the contractors unable to rectify the complaints within stipulated time of 7 days (maximum), the penalty will be imposed to the contractor at the rate of Rs 500.00 per day for each complaint.

Notes:- (c) The above aspects shall be borne in mind by the tenderer while quoting the rates. The rates quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include the above aspects. (d) Tenderers may note that amount as given in schedule of credit will be deducted from the total amount to worked out the net contract sum at the time of Acceptance of tender.
