M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, paths, etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm thick in depth, but making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30 Grade) with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix laid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a niform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt or with mechanical air compressor etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm (using paving bitumen VG 10 grade) of road surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness (using paving bitumen VG-30 grade) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, spread by means of self propelled mechanical spreader/ paver, rolled and compacted to requireds camber and gradient by using mechanical power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 5.5% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out to be less than 5.5% than minimum binder content of 5.5% given he in above shall be provided.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing bituminous surface of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrow etc. And the like not exceeding 10 cm wide on road pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
