Upgradation of Ghatasani to Barot road km. 0/0 to 25/0 (T-03) under PMGSY-II, Batch-I, 2019-20 District Mandi (H.P.) Package No. HP-08-516.
Part-I: Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering wherever required setting out to the required, lines grades, side slopes trimming bottom and level as shown on the drawings as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to technical specifications clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 sorting out useful/ unuseful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, embankments for grade improvements and levelling to the required grade and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of roads or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and all labour, machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by all means ( if required). Recovery of useful stone of 12578.39 cum. @ 300/- per cum. amounting to Rs. 37,73,517/- only shall be done on prorata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect including all leads and lift of materials or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Earth work in excavation for structures in all heights and depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2014 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C. M-20 (twenty) grade for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete of mix design to have characteristic strength M-25 (twenty five) grade including form work and curing complete in sub structure as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 802, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202, 1206 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specifications 1206.3 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm (four millimetre) diametre G.I. wire conforming to IS: 280 and IS: 4826 in 100mm x 100mm (one hundred millimetre into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% (ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stones boulders weighing not less than 25 Kg. (twenty five kilogram) each as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1301 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and erecting a "W" Metal Beam Crash Barrier comprising of 3mm (three millimetre) thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail 70cm (seventy centimetre) above road/ ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical posts 150 x 75 x 5mm thick (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre) spaced 2.00 (two point zero) metre centre to centre 1.80 metre (one point eight zero) high, 1.10 metre (one point one zero) below ground/ road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot deep process, all fittings to conforming to IS: 1367 and IS: 1364, metal beam, rail to be fixed on the vertical posts with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre), 330mm (three hundred thirty millimetre) long complete as per clause 811.3 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing and applying primer coat of water soluble organo silane Nano Technology (for bitumen emulsion application, IRC accredited) with cationic bitumen emulsion CSSI and water (<1000 (more than one thousand) ppm TDS) in the ratio of 1 kg (one kilogramme) organo silane nanotechnology: 100kg (one hundred kilogramme) cationic bitumen emulsion CSSI: 200 (two hundred) litre water. Mixing and spraying by taking 1kg (one kilogramme) of organo silane nanotechnology and add in 200 (two hundred) litre water while filling in tanker/drum and then add 100 kg (one hundred) cationic bitumen under circulation and mix the solution completely. Spray the solution @ 1 kg/ sqm (at the rate of one kilogramme per square metre) on compacted stone base complete as per MoRD specifications clause 502 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Preparing and applying tack coat of water soluble organo silane nono techonology (for bitumen emulsion application IRC accredited) with cationic bitumen CRSI and water (<1000 (more than one thousand) ppm TDS) in ratio of 1kg (one kilogramme) organo silane : 100 kg (one hundred kilogramme) cationic bitumen emulsion CRSI : 200 (two hundred) litre water. Mixing and Spraying by taking 1.4 kg (one point four kilogramme) of organo silane nano technology and add in 200 (two hundred) litre water, while filling water in tanker/ drum and then add 100 kg (one hundred kilogramme) cationic bitumen emulsion under circulation and mix the solution completely. Spray the solution @ 0.3 -0.4 kg/sqm (at the rate of zero point three to zero point four kilogramme per square metre) on compacted stone base complete as per MoRD specifications clause 503 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 50mm (fifty millimetre) compacted thick bituminous macadam with aggregate of grading-II, 19 (nineteen) millimetre nominal size, using bitumen (S-90/VG-10), minimum 3.3% (three point three percent) of weight of mix on thoroughly cleaned surface, free from pot holes and cracks by mechanical broom and dust removed by compressed air, mixed in batch mix/ computerised Hot mix plant of 60 - 80 (sixty to eighty) TPH capacity calibrated from time to time mixing to bituminous concrete as per approved job mix formula from approved laboratory, transporting the mix material in clean insulated vehicles covered while in transit or awaiting, tipping and laying with sensor paver finisher to the required level and grade, rolling with power road roller to achieve the desired density complete including profile correction layer and patching of pot holes, with in all leads and lifts including carriage of materials, plants and equipment by mechanical transport, confirming to clause 504 and task 501.6 and 501.7 of MORT &H (Road wing) specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth revision) as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 30mm (thirty millimetre) thick single layer semi dense bituminous concrete with 60 - 80 (sixty to eighty) TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 50 (fifty) tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (VG-10/S-90) @ 5 (five) per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidental as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Manufacturing, laying of rectangular cement concrete block pavement of size 0.45m x 0.30m x 0.15m ( zero point four five metre into zero point three zero metre into zero point one five metre) of cement concrete M-30 (thirty) grade and spreading 25mm (twenty five) millimetre thick sand under neath and filling joints with sand on existing water bound mecadom base as per Techanical Specifications Clause 1503 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of parapets with mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) and curing complete including cost of earth work in all kinds of soil and cost of from work with steel plates complete as per drawing and technical specification including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm (one point five millimetre) thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm (sixty five millimetre) width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 (forty seven millimetre into forty seven millimetre into twelve millimetre) SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm (four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred millimetre), 600mm (six hundred millimetre) below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per MORD specifications and drawing.Three MS plates of 1.6mm (one point six millimeter) thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm (twenty five millimeters x five millimeter) size on back on edges.The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mmx5mm (twenty five millimeters x twenty five millimetres x five millimeters). The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 (two) Nos. 75mm x 75mm (seventy five millimeters x seventy five millimetres) of 12 (twelve) SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 (fifteen) grade blocks of 450mmx450 mmx 600mm (four hundred fifty millimetres x four hundred fifty millimetre x six hundred millimetre) 600 mm (six hundred millimetre) below ground level.The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x47mm (forty seven millimetre into forty seven millimetre) of 12 (twelve) SWG steel plate tube. Grassing with large grasses (large rhizomatous type, like samll bamboos). Planting rooted rhizomes of large stature grasses on slopes, including supplying clumps of appropriate grasses, spliting into separate viable rhizome sections, trimming roots, preparing lines, digging planting hole to a max of 5 cm ( five centimetre) depth with metal rod or wooden peg depending on nature of soil planting rhizomes at the spacing specified, and subsequent watering (if necessary). On embankment slopes in plain areas and fill slope <15° (fifteen degree), plants at 10cm (ten centimetre) spacings within the row; the first row is 0.75 m (zero point seven five metre) from the edge of the pavement and subsequent rows are spaced at 1.00 m (one point zero zero meter) intervals down the embankment including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Part-II: Routine Maintenance after completion of construction work as per terms and condition of bid document that is 7(c ) (vi) of contract data to general condition of contract and technical specifications of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads including carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect including all leads and lift of materials or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Earth work in excavation for structures in all heights and depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2014 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. M-20 (twenty) grade for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Coursed rubble stone masonary (second sort) in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement : four sand) in sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 & 1204 including curing and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing and applying tack coat of water soluble organo silane nono techonology (for bitumen emulsion application IRC accredited) with cationic bitumen CRSI and water (<1000 (more than one thousand) ppm TDS) in ratio of 1kg (one kilogramme) organo silane : 100 kg (one hundred kilogramme) cationic bitumen emulsion CRSI : 200 (two hundred) litre water. Mixing and Spraying by taking 1.4 kg (one point four kilogramme) of organo silane nano technology and add in 200 (two hundred) litre water, while filling water in tanker/ drum and then add 100 kg (one hundred kilogramme) cationic bitumen emulsion under circulation and mix the solution completely. Spray the solution @ 0.3 -0.4 kg/sqm (at the rate of zero point three to zero point four kilogramme per square metre) on compacted stone base complete as per MoRD specifications CLause 503 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 50mm (fifty millimetre) compacted thick bituminous macadam with aggregate of grading-II, 19 (nineteen) millimetre nominal size, using bitumen (S-90/VG-10), minimum 3.3% (three point three percent) of weight of mix on thoroughly cleaned surface, free from pot holes and cracks by mechanical broom and dust removed by compressed air, mixed in batch mix/ computerised Hot mix plant of 60 - 80 (sixty to eighty) TPH capacity calibrated from time to time mixing to bituminous concrete as per approved job mix formula from approved laboratory, transporting the mix material in clean insulated vehicles covered while in transit or awaiting, tipping and laying with sensor paver finisher to the required level and grade, rolling with power road roller to achieve the desired density complete including profile correction layer and patching of pot holes, with in all leads and lifts including carriage of materials, plants and equipment by mechanical transport, confirming to clause 504 and task 501.6 and 501.7 of MORT &H (Road wing) specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth revision) as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 25mm (twenty five millimetre) thick single layer semi dense bituminous concrete with 60 - 80 (sixty to eighty) TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 50 (fifty) tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (VG-10/S-90) @ 5 (five) per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidental as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
