Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of maintenance free (four spikes)chemical earthing system using 17.2mm dia, 3000mm long (drawn vertically) high tensile low carbon steel circular rod, molecularly bonded with copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness of 250 microns) meeting the requirements of under writers laboratories (UL) 467-2007 or latest with 250mm long copper strips of size (50X3)mm, exothermally welded on top of electrode complete including augering (boring) 100-125mm dia hole as required for electrode in any type of soil and back filling with combination of two chemical compounds (one is earth enhancing chemical compound as per IEEE 80 2000 clause 14.5d, min quantity of compound used 10Kg and second is earth enhancing back filled compound as per IEEE 80 2000 clause 14.5c, min quantity of compound used 25Kg), so minimum qty 35 Kg per electrode, However extra chemical is required to fill the hole around the rod, same shall be arranged by the contractror at his own cost and cost of the same is deem to be included in the unit rate of this item) conforming to IEEE/BS standrads incl HDPE pit cover light weight made out of high quality polymer with lid made of HDG steel and U-clamp copper nut & bolt & gun metal body 1 No. per electrode required for joining all three electrodes complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) The work of earthing shall be carried out by authorised trained rep of OEM. (ii) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall be as per users requirement as desired by Engr-in-Charge but it should be below 01 Ohm . (iii) The procedure mentioned here-in-before for one earth pit shall be repeated for other earth pits. (iv) Copper strip 20x3.15 mm required for joining these three electrodes in loop shall be measured and paid seperately . (v)The distance between two successive earth electrodes shall not be less than 3 metres.(vi) The rate quated shall also be included the following elements: (a) Complete earthwork including drilling holes for electrode.(b) Earhing electrode-03 only (c) Backfilling carbon based ground enhancing compound (GEC). (d) Pit cover light weight made out of high quality polymer with lid made of HDG steel. (e) Copper strip as earthing lead of size 50mmx3mm, 250 mm long only, beyond 250mm, other size shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item here -in-after. (f) All labour and T&P required including testing of earth network. (vii) Testing for earth resistance shall be carriedout in presence of JE and Engr-in-charge. (viii) Original purchase vouchers for copper rod and back fill compound and manufacturer test certificate of entire quantity shall be produced by the contractor before commencement on ground.

M&L copper strip with saddles/ insulators for main earthing lead from test point equipments and fixed with wall/recess/chases or buried in ground or any indicated position of size 20 x 3.15 mm including brazing of joints complete all as specified and directed. (Note:-Earth work and excavation shall be measured and paid separately)

M&L test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size (75x75x25)mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hex. Head screw complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix copper tube (inner dia 31.75mm, length 200mm and thichness 10mm) in the rigid pavement (PQC) and brazed with copper strip complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for removing/laying of pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading,levelling watering and well ramming in layers notexceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing above the starting point excavated soil to a distance exceeding 50 mtr but not exceeding 100 mtr. and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raking out existing joint Sealant from expansion joints with using appropriate tools and mechanical means of joints of size 20-25 mm wide and 20 mm deep of sealant including taking out compressible backer rod of dia 25-30 mm ( total depth 45-50 mm) from joints, cleaning the joints of sides, bottom and removing the loose particles of sealant dust etc, with suitable tools and mechanical driven machine, drying the joints surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower. Applying masking tape both sides of edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant applying one coat of primer and insert compressible cross linked polyurethane form back-up rod, closed cell, medium density of appropriate dia as per site condition, putting polyurethane joint sealant of approved make in joints as per manufacturer instruction, removing masking tape after application of sealant joint and cleaning the surface and Complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for raking out existing joint sealant from Construction/ Dummy joints with using appropriate tools and mechanical means of joints of size 10-12 mm wide and 10 mm deep of sealant including taking out compressible backer rod of dia 12-15 mm (total depth 22-25 mm) from joints, cleaning the joints of side, bottom and removing the loose particle of sealant dust etc, with suitable tools and mechanical driven machine, drying the joints surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower. Applying masking tape both sides of edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant. Applying one coat of primer and insert compressible cross linked polyurethane form back up rod, closed cell, medium density of appropriate dia as per site condition, putting polyurethane joint sealant of approved make in joints as per manufacturer's instruction, removing masking tape after application of sealant joint and cleaning the surface and complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L sand cushioing for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying Sub Class "B" Bricks Designation 75 as in cable Protection complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L including testing of XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor ,1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 300 Sqmm,3.5 core and including taking down old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing galvanised iron tubing 150 mm bore, medium grade with all fitting & fixture as in cable protection laid in trenches/floor or on the Pole etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seprately. (ii) The unit rate of these items include the cost of clamps,nuts,bolts etc.

Supply and fixing Bus bar chamber of size 900 mm (h) X 800 mm (w) x 700 mm (d) 4 strip aluminum busbar of size 600 Amps rating for phase and neutral ,400 mm long,duly fixed on porcelain insulator made out of 3.15 mm thick M.S Sheet and with proper weather protection (rain protection canopy) having four legs of 1.5 mtr with angle iron 80 mm x 80 mm x 5mm thick on floor with PCC foundation 450 mm x 350mm x 250mm type B1 (1:2:4) (using 20 mm crushed stone aggregate), duly powder coated paint having two parts front & back opening door including earth terminal point, cable connection and including taking down/dismantling existing bus bar chamber complete all as directed.

Supply only analog voltmeter range 0-500 V.

Supply only analog ampermeter range 0- 40 A with CT operated 5A.
