Renovation of Gents and Ladies toilets at 2nd and 4th floor, Main Office Building, RBI, Ahmedabad

Careful dismantling as per existing site condition by manual or mechanical means in existing toilet and disposing of all the unserviceable material & debris away from Bank's premises at a place permissible by the Municipal Corporation and stacking the salvageable materials/items at all lead & lift, etc. complete as directed by Banks Engineer. − Brick masonry walls (approx 5.46 cum) − Any type flooring along with its bed mortar up to RCC slab (approx 72 sqm) − Glazed tile/ceramic tile skirting/wall dado and bed mortar up to brick surface at all level (approx 144 sqm) − Water proofing treatment and sunken portion filled up materials upto RCC slab surface including removal of all C.I. pipes, G.I. pipes up to vertical stacks, Nahani traps, Gully traps, C.I fittings including cleaning the exposed R.C.C. surface with wire brush, etc. − W.C.s and fixtures like flush tank, Two way bib cock, health faucet, angle cock (8 nos.) − Urinals, urinal partitions and fittings like prismatic flush valve and waste pipe (12 nos.) − Washbasins and fixtures like Pillar cock, bottle trap, brackets, all fittings & fixtures etc. (8 nos.) − S.S. kitchen sink (4 Nos.) − Granite top basin counter/ kitchen platform (approx 5.88 sqm) − Wooden doors including Frames, Architrave, holdfast etc (14 nos.) − Fixed glass windows in aluminium section frame (approx. 3.48 sqm) − Dismantling/Removing of false ceiling with supporting M.S. structure. Note - (a) While carrying out the dismantling works care shall be taken to avoid the damages to the structural members viz. RCC Beam, Slab, etc. (b) Dismantling work is to be planned in such a way that it has least disturbance to the office functioning using proper tools & machinery (c) Necessary arrangement if any, required due to disconnection of water supply and waste pipe system for smooth functioning of other toilets (d) Tenderer shall inspect the site and assess the quantum of dismantling works involved before quoting their rate. Rate shall be quoted considering the salvage value of the dismantled items.

Brick and Plastering Work - Brick wall - Burnt clay brick masonary walls - Providing and constructing half brick thick masonary walls with locally available best quality common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks in superstructure in C.M. 1:4 (1 cement: 4 Coarse sand) including approx. 100 mm thk patli at every 1m height (including 8mm dia. mild steel 4nos. reinforcements bars & stirrups @ 200mm c/c along length tied with GI wire) in M15 concrete mix as per relevant IS Code including necessary centering, shuttering, supports etc. complete & providing proper key to the adjoining structure, raking the joints, curing, cleaning, carting away debris, if any, outside the Bank's premises complete as directed by Banks Engineer.

Brick and Plastering Work - Plaster - Providing and applying approx. 12 mm thick (average) ready mixed cement plaster in CM 1:4, complete as per manufacturer's specifications and direction at all heights and levels. rates is inclusive of providing and mixing approved fibre reinforcing material as per manufacturers specification in cement mortar etc. complete at all heights, levels and locations. The rates shall also include moulding and grooves wherever specified, scaffolding, curing, and masonry or any dissimilar materials etc. all complete as per technical specifications, drawings & as directed by the Banks Engineer. The rate shall also include providing and fixing 200mm width glass fibre mesh (145 GSM) at junctions of column/beam and walls, before plastering the junction with cement/gypsum plaster as directed. The mesh shall be nailed rigidly to the masonry with G.I. nails of suitable type at approx. 400 mm centers.

Window Sill / Jamb/ Soffit - Providing and fixing 200 mm wide Mirror Polished Granite window Sill / jamb/ soffit of 18-20mm thickness of approved colours, shades, any size as approved by Banks Engineer over 15 mm thick (average) backing plaster in cement mortar 1:3 with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water base) as per specification of the approved manufacturer and jointing including grouting/filling of joints with approved make tile joint filler as per manufacturer's specification complete at all floor level, all cutting, wastage, cleaning, scaffolding, curing making good the damages, carrying out the work in perfect line and level. The rate shall including making chamfering to the exposed edges of granite at all height, etc complete as directed by Banks Engineer. [Basic rate for the Granite is ₹ 2650/- per Sq m. inclusive of all taxes, etc. Nothing extra on account of loading, unloading, transportation, wastage, etc. will be paid. Any increase or decrease in cost of tiles shall accordingly be deducted or paid for on the actual measured quantity as finished.]

Waterproofing work- Waterproof Cement Plaster - Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, Urinals, Wash basin area etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with approved water proofing cement compound consisting of applying: (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with curing . Both the layers treatment shall continue on vertical walls/columns up to 600mm high. The entire sunken surface and side of the sunken portion shall be applied with average 15 mm thick waterproof cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 admixed with waterproof chemical of approved make as per manufacturer's specification. The waterproof surface shall be tested by ponding water for at least two days so as to ensure no leakages or seepages of water as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Rate shall include surface preparation before applying the treatment, the waterproofing works are to be carried out in best manner and the entire work should be guaranteed for its performance for minimum 5 years. The guarantee shall be furnished on required value stamp paper as per the Bank's approved proforma. Actual measured quantity as finished shall be considered for payment.

Brick bat coba - Providing and filling the sunken portion of water closet/urinals/wash basin area etc., with brick bat coba made from well burnt good quality locally available bricks mixed with C.M 1:3(1 Cement: 3 Coarse Sand) admixed with waterproofing compound of approved make as per manufacturer's specification to the required depth after carrying out the waterproofing treatment as specified in item above, including finishing the top surface to receive the tile bed mortar etc. complete as directed by the Banks Engineer.

IPS Final Coat - Providing and laying top IPS finish layer in 40 mm thickness to proper slope in CM 1:3 by adding 10mm down aggregates and finishing the same to rough / Smooth finish to receive further treatment. Mode of Measurement - Plan Area should be measured and paid for.

Plumbing Work- Plumbing Lines (Water supply)- Providing and fixing in position CPVC pipes SDR-11 Class-1 conforming to IS 15778 for cold water, for sizes mentioned below with all fittings, solvent welding as per manufacturers recommendation, including chasing concealing reinstating the wall surface, fixing the pipes to walls with heavy duty G.I. clamps etc. complete including all testing as specified or directed. (For cold and hot water pipes concealed in wall) complete as directed by Banks Engineer. - 20 mm nominal bore

Plumbing Work- Drainage Lines - Providing and fixing PVC-SWR grade pipes type-B as per IS:13592-2013 and fittings as per IS 14735 having thermal stability upto 80°C for hot & cold-water supply of approved make including all uPVC plain fittings i/c fixing the pipe with one step CPVC solvent cement with clamps at 1.00 m spacing or less at bends. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings viz. couplers, tees, y bend, plain bend, door junction, plain/plug single or double junction, offsets, invert junctions, etc. with one step CPVC solvent cement and cost of cutting chases and making hole in the wall and making good the same including testing of joints, necessary scaffoldings complete as per direction of the Banks Engineer. (Connection to existing soil pipe) - a) 110 mm Dia

Providing and fixing 100 mm Dia heavy quality uPVC-SWR grade pipes type-B as per IS:13592-2013 and fittings as per IS 14735 having thermal stability upto 80°C for hot & cold water supply Nahani/Floor trap of approved make including necessary connections up to waste line and providing ,fixing heavy quality stainless steel grating with Stainless steel rim suitable for trap with white cement etc. complete as per directions of the Banks Engineer.
