Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting/filling):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils, rocks & E&B as met at site true to lines as per plan & L section cross slope,super elevation as required also including uprooting & cutting of bushes dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes with all lead, lifts required for safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places indicated in the drawing by mechanical means/ manual and including construction of coolie walling of minimum height of 0.60 m with the stone available from the required hill side cutting for retaining of the muck without damaging forest and forest land, utility and private properties including slip clearance and its safe disposal (same as per mentioned above for safe disposal of surplus excavated material) till the completion of the work as per part II special conditions of contract, MoRD specification clause 1601 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of subgrade (Making Superelevation) with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Random Rubble stone masonary in Coolie walling including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work.(As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications)

Construction of earthen shoulders (Patri Filling) with approved material obtained from borrow pits/hill side cutting with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1

20mm thick Open-Graded Premix Carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing and Laying of Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal shaped Gabions (Zinc plus PVC coated), of size 3mX1mX1m with two diaphragms at 1m interval, having mesh opening 100mmx120 mm, mesh wire diameter 2.7mm/3.7mm, edge/selvedge wire diameter 3.4/4.4 mm and lacing wire diameter 2.2/3.2 mm. (The work includes filling bouldersin the gabions).
