S & F in replacement solar cat eyes (studs) made of aluminium dicasted body, 100% waterproof, both side reflectors, designed according to IP 65 of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm with shank not less than 60mm length, high efficiency mono crystaline solar panel(2.5 V/0.3 watt), one Ni-Mh or Ni-cd rechargable battery (1.2 V/1600 MA) having six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd (millicandela), view distance upto 1000 metre and flush road bearing capacity 10 MT, fixing in road by drilling a hole and with epoxy hardner etc as per manufacturer's instructions at the location complete all as specified and directed. M&L for repair to pot holes of depth exc 30 mm, n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc, cutting arounds edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen @ 10 kg per 10 sqm putting premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen) 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed using 8 to 10 tonne power roller (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen primer VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete (Design mix) 30mm consolidated thickness with binder content @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix using cement OPC 43 grade 2% as filler material with paver finisher, rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-30 @ 3 kg per 10 Sqm and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete (Design mix) 30mm consolidated thickness with binder content @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix using cement OPC 43 grade 2% as filler material with paver finisher, rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver finisher, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning and preparing the road surface and applying/marking with reflective thermoplastic white/yellow road marking paint conforming to BIS-3262, laid through road marking paint application machine in a 2.5mm thick layer of CRYSTALEX using 5 Kg material per square meter by incorporating the white glass beads 250 gms/Sqm for reflectivity of lines,dashes, arrows, zebra marking etc all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Unit rate quoted by the contractor deemed to include for provision of red signals to keep off trafic from green work, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light. (ii) The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary, the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment until the desired result is obtained. Make :- Asian Paints, Berger Paints & Shalimar Paints as approved by GE.
