| 1.01 | Design, Supply, Installation, testing and Commissioning of Scroll/screw type compressor water cooled Central Air conditioning system of capacity not less than 200 TR (2x100 TR working and 1X100 TR standby) for Composite POD Lab, including following items and other items as required for satisfactory performance of the plant complete in all respect as specified in drawings of composite POD Lab Bldg enclosed as Appx 'H' alongwith drawing showing distance of Composite POD Lab Bldg to AHU Room and AC Plant Room to AHU Room Bldg attached as Annex -I to achieve details comprising the following complete as required:-
Note 1 :-
(a) Contractor shall submit complete design for the Central AC plant comprising of heat load calculations, working drawings of complete AC plant supported with design/calculations of each component of work duly vetted by IIT/NIT within two months of the date of commencement of work through GE for the approval of Accepting Officer before execution of the work.
(b) Contractor will be responsible for performance guarantee of complete AC plant to achieve the inside design conditions round the clock throughout the year with overall COP of the system not less than 4.
Note 2 :- Rates quoted by the contractor shall be for complete finished work including cost of all labour, material, scaffolding, finishing as required with tools, plants, cartage, lift, taxes, tollage, octroi, royalties etc. All works shall be executed as per drawings and instructions of Site in-charge and shall include the supply and installation at site of all the equipment, ancillary materials as specified and all such items what-so-ever which may be required to fulfill the intent and purpose as laid down in the drawings. All materials shall be as per ISI specification and with IS certification marked wherever applicable. The material shall be duly approved by Site in-charge before incorporation in the actual work. | 1.02CHILLER:- Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of water cooled scroll/screw chiller with single / multi-compressors, comprising of Hermetic compressors, DX Evaporator, shell & tube condenser, suitable expansion device, suitable for operation on Non CFC refrigerant and complete in all respects as required Cooling capacity (2 Working + 1 Standby) PUMPS:- (i) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of end suction monoblock / centrifugal Chilled water pump sets (2 Working + 1 Standby) set of suitable capacity for AC plant comprising of the following and complete as required. 3 Nos. - Pumps with bronze impeller, S.S Shaft, CED Coated CI body and mechanical seal 3 Nos. of suitable HP, TEFC squirrel cage induction motor (IE-2) with class 'F' insulation, 2900/1450 RPM synchronous speed, operating at 415 ± 10 % Volts, 3phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. Minimum Efficiency 75%.aluminium sheets of 24G thickness and properly clamped to pump in two semicircular sections as required. Lot-Mounting frame work with anti vibration pads. (ii) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of end suction monoblock / centrifugal pump sets for condenser water circulation (2 Working + 1 Standby) set of suitable capacity for AC plant comprising of the following and complete as required. 3 Nos. - Pumps with bronze impeller, S.S Shaft, CI body and mechanical seal. 3 Nos. of suitable HP, TEFC squirrel cage induction motor (IE-2) with class 'F' insulation, 2900/1450 RPM synchronous speed, operating on 415 ± 10 % Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. Minimum Efficiency 75%. Lot-Mounting frame work with anti vibration pads. (iii) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Monoblock/ Centrifugal Type Hot water pumps for hot water recirculation, pump set (1 Working + 1 Standby) of suitable capacity for AC plant comprising of the following and complete as required. 2 Nos. - Pump with bronze impeller, S.S Shaft, CI body and mechanical seal. 2 Nos. of suitable HP, TEFC squirrel cage induction motor (IE-2) with class 'F' insulation, 2900/1450 RPM synchronous speed, operating on 415 ± 10 % Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. | 1.03HOT WATER GENERATOR (HWG) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of electrically operated Hot Water Generator of suitable size and suitable capacity made of 8 mm M.S. sheet and dish end made of 10mm M.S. having 16 gauge stainless steel lining with heaters arranged in banks and Controller and Thermostat so that required qty. of hot water is generated at 50°C with nominal variation, including 100mm thick resin bonded fiber glass insulation of 24 Kg / CUM density finished with 1.25mm thick aluminium sheet cladding including necessary Electrical panel with automatic Controls including inlet and outlet connections for water complete with pressure release valve, low level cut-out, Auto-vent sight-glass all as per specifications complete as required and approved (Degree of protection IP-52 with IS 2147). | ||||||||
| 1.04ULTRASONIC HUMIDIFIER Supplying, Installing, Testing and Commissioning of Ultrasonic humidifier, of suitable capacity complete with stainless steel tank with float valve, water makeup, overflow and drain connections. The transducer shall be interlocked with float switch, supplied with humidifier, and humidistat with necessary supports by MS structural steel if required, hangers, clamp supports from walls, floors and ceiling with painting with one coat of primer and two coats of paint to supports of MS work. COOLING TOWER Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Induced draft counter flow, vertical discharge type FRP Cooling tower of suitable capacity with ultra-violet treated durable & highly efficient PVC fillings with integral louvers and drift eliminators, open pan suitable for water distribution complete with hot FRP water basin. The hot water shall be distributed to fills in each cell via open type gravity type basin or with spray nozzles or having self rotating sprinklers. Cooling tower shall be provided with statically and dynamically balanced one no. anti corrosion treated axial flow type fan –direct driven or driven through special beveled reduction gear box with TEFC induction flame proof motor with IP-65 protection, IE-2, suction screen, make up and quick fill arrangement, overflow and drain connections and suitable inspection hot-dipped galvanized ladder, access arrangement for cooling tower interior, anti vibration mountings etc complete as required. The unit shall be installed at proper foundation as per requirements. (Civil foundation works is included in the scope of work). | ||||||||
| 1.05FLOOR MOUNTED AIR HANDLING UNITS (FOR 25718 Sqft AREA) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of factory built Floor standing double skin type air handling unit of suitable capacity with thermal break profile made of 43 mm thick panels consisting of pre plasticized G.I. casing of thickness 0.8 mm outside and 0.8 mm thick GI sheet inside layer with CFC-FREE P.U. insulation of density 42(+5%) kg/m3 factory injected between them by injection moulding machine, complete with Direct Driven plug fan of required static pressure. The unit shall consist requirement of deep cooling coil and heating coil as per design requirement of each AC Plant as per requirements (not limited to listed below) with aluminium finned(12FPI) copper tubes(tube thickness not less than 0.41 mm) , filter sections with 50 mm thick washable synthetic type Pre filters having efficiency 90% down to 10 micron, and panel suitable for operation at 415 ± 10% volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, A.C supply, complete with drain connections with drain valve, insulated stainless steel drain pan, necessary vibration isolation arrangement, flexible duct 20 G SS Drain pan, drain connection with necessary control arrangement to switch off the fan in case of fire, indicating lamp & all safety precaution in a powder coated GI enclosure with necessary power and control cable as required.The AHU should have space for humidifier. | ||||||||
| 1.06WATER PIPING WORKS (a) INSULATED CHILLED / HOT WATER PIPING (i) Supplying, laying/ fixing, testing and commissioning of following nominal sizes of chilled/ hot water piping inside the building (with necessary clamps, vibration isolators and fittings but excluding valves, strainers, gauges etc.) duly insulated with Closed Cell Class O Nitrile Rubber Elastomeric Insulation of Density 40-60 Kg/m3, Thermal Conductivity of 0.035 W/mk at 0Deg Celsius Mean Temp and µ≥7000 (without any additional Vapour Barrier) and factory laminated 7 mil Glass Cloth (GC) covering ; to be applied on Pipes using manufacturer's recommended Rubber based Adhesive in a blend of solvents. complete as per specifications and as required complete in all respect. (b) INSULATED CHILLED/HOT WATER PIPING, VALVES & FITTINGS: for (Underground Pipe/ Outside Building) : Supply, laying, fixing, testing and commissioning of chilled/ hot water piping plumbing |inside trenches with all necessary fabricated fittings such as bends, tees, reducers etc, and supports such as clamps, anti vibration hangars/pads etc( (but excluding valves, valves/ strainers/ pr gauges etc) duly insulated with pipe sections of Fire retardant quality expanded polystyrene moulded pipe section of density 36 Kg per cum conforming to IS 12436 and thickness 50mm upto 125mm pipe and 75mm thick for pipes 150mm and above. The insulation applied after a thick coat of cold setting adhesive (CRPX Compound) will be wrapped with 500 gm/sqm polythene faced hessian cloth sheet (vapour barrier seal) Fire retardant grade) and secured with 0.5mm x 20mm GI wire mesh and 2 coats of cement plaster (1:4) 20mm thick in |2 layers (each layer of 1Omm) and water proofed by applying hot bitumen and fixing tar felt over the plaster. It shall then be finally finished with a coat of hot bitumen. The work includes digging and refilling of trenches and providing 500mm thick 1:2:4 cement mortar pads at 3 M interval. The pipes are required for installing outside the Building buried in ground. Note - The Pipes of sizes 150mm & below shall be M.S. 'C' class as per IS : 1239 and pipes size above 150mm shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS: 3589, from minimum 6.35mm thick M.S. Sheet for pipes upto 350 mm dia. and from minimum 7mm thick MS sheet for pipes of 400 mm dia and above. Note :- The Pipes of sizes 150mm & below shall be M.S. 'C' class as per IS : 1239 and pipes size above 150mm shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS: 3589, from minimum 6.35mm thick M.S. Sheet for pipes upto 350 mm dia. and from minimum 7mm thick MS sheet for pipes of 400 mm dia and above. | ||||||||
| 1.07(i) Supplying, Fixing, Testing and Commissioning of following valves, strainers, Gauges etc (Nos. as per design requirement) in the chilled / hot water plumbing duly insulated to the same specifications as the connected piping and adequately supported as required. (iii) BUTTERFLY VALVES (MANUAL) with C I body SS Disc, Nitrile Rubber Seal & O- Ring PN 16 pressure rating for chilled / hot water circulation as required. (iv) BALL VALVE set with and without Y strainer with bronze body, flanged end type for chilled / hot water circulation as specified. (v) BALANCING VALVE WITH BUILT IN MEASURING FACILITY of C I body flanged construction with EPDM coated disc with long pitch with protruded out pipe insulation & PN 16 pressure rating for chilled / hot water circulation as required. (vi) NON- RETURN VALVE with dual plate of C I body SS plates vulcanized NBR seal flanged end & PN 16 pressure rating for chilled / hot water circulation including insulation as required. (vii) Y - STRAINER of Ductile CI Body flanged ends with stainless steel strainer for chilled / hot water circulation including insulation as required. (viii) Three Way Motorized Valves with modulating motor including automatic control panel for three way motorized valves in cooling / heating coil of air handling units as required of following sizes. (ix) FLOW SWITCH of brass/Polymer construction with necessary arrangement as per requirement. (x) Industrial type pressure gauges with gun metal/ Brass construction isolating valve complete with all accessories as required. (xi) Industrial type mercury in glass industrial type thermometers with gun metal/Brass construction isolating valve complete with all accessories as required. (xii) Digital thermometers with probe suitable for binder test point application with Brass construction, Nitrile sealing bushes, max operating pressure of 16 bar & max. working temperature of 110 deg Celsius as required. | ||||||||
| 1.08(xiii) Dial type pressure gauge with probe suitable for binder test point application with Brass construction, Nitrile sealing bushes, max operating pressure of 16 bar & max. working temperature of 110 deg Celsius as required. (xiv) Auto Air - purge valve of brass construction of suitable dia (Air Vent will be fitted with an isolating ball valve- gunmetal/brass construction) (xv) FLEXIBLE CONNECTIONS. Supply ,Installation ,Testing and Commissioning of Flexible connector for pipe of required Dia. having PN 16 working pressure with anti vacuum rings complete with flanges, nuts, bolts, seal etc. to be installed at chiller suction and discharge. (xvi) DRAIN WATER PIPES. Supplying, Fixing, Testing and Commissioning of G.I. medium class water pipes as per IS 1239/1979 of required size along with necessary clamps, fittings such as bends, tees etc. adequately supported and duly insulated with 13 mm thick closed cell elastomeric nitrile rubber of class 'O' insulation applied by adhesive confirming to standard specifications complete with type3, grade 1 roofing felt strip (as per IS:1322 as amended up to date) at joints and repairing of damage to building etc. as required complete in all respects. | ||||||||
| 1.09(xvii) EXPANSION TANK FOR CHILLER LINE WATER MAKE UP :- Supply, Installation, Testing of open type expansion tank of capacity as per design requirement, of MS Construction made of minimum 6 mm thick mild steel sheet duly insulated with XLPE insulation applied by adhesive confirming to standard specifications and finally applying 0.63 mm thick aluminium sheet cladding complete with type3, grade 1 roofing felt strip (as per IS:1322 as amended up to date) at joints and repairing of damage to building etc. as required complete in all respect with connection over flow and drain 40 mm dia. Make up tank with makeup connection with float valve drain valve and incoming line valves, vent connections, valves and fittings as required. | ||||||||
| 1.10CONDENSER WATER PIPES (i) Supplying, Fixing, Testing and Commissioning of condenser water pipes of Various sizes and materials along with necessary clamps, vibration-isolators and fittings such as bends, tees etc but excluding strainer and gauges etc adequately supported on rigid supports/including painting valves including minor holes & works making of good the damage done welded black steel pipe as specified. (ii) The Pipes of sizes 150mm & below shall be M.S. heavy class as per IS : 1239 and pipes of sizes above 150mm shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS: 3589, from minimum 6.35 mm thick M.S. Sheet for pipes upto 350 mm dia & from minimum 7mm thick M.S. sheet for pipes of 400 mm dia & above. (iii) Supplying, Fixing, Testing and Commissioning of following valves, gauges and strainers for condenser water circulation of sizes and nos. as required. | ||||||||
