M&L for cutting out cracks to 'V' section in existing roofs or terrace cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry 1:3 complete all as specified & as directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing water proofing treatment of any description or any other type of treatment over roof slab, parapets, chimney stacks, etc including cement plaster/PCC over RCC roof and cleaning the surface with wire brushes and washing with water, removing of insolvent materials and removing & depositing the debris, rubbish, etc outside MoD land, brushing neat cement slurry @ 3 Kg of cement per Sqm over the cleaned surface and provide 15mm thick screed bed/bedding layer/plaster in CM 1:3 mixed with integral Water Proofing Compound (WPC) as per manufacturer's instructions and finishing the surface even & smooth without using extra cement while the cement slurry is still green on RCC roof/parapet, provide oil bound bituminous primer @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm after bedding layer/plaster is cured with water for 7 days & completely dried, provide minimum 4mm thick APP based modified polymeric water proofing membrane weighing not less than 4.00 Kg/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester matt fabric weighing not less than 160 gms/Sqm with over laps 100 mm longitudinal direction (side laps) and 150 mm on the transverse direction (end laps) by thermo-fused torch flame application method as per detailed procedure as directed and finally finishing the top surface with one finishing coat of bituminous aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) WPC shall be measured & paid for separately as ‘Supply only’. (ii) The work shall be carried out only through manufacturer or their authorised applicator and contractor shall submit a written guarantee of the manufacturer/authorised applicator for the effectiveness of WPT for 10 years from the date of completion of contract. (iii) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface. (iv) The net area of water proofing treatment shall be measured without any extra allowance for laps.

M&L for average 25mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in roof padding, floor, levelling course, etc by maintaining gradient/ undulation, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for machine cut mirror polished Kota stone slab 20 to 25mm thick laid in floors etc over & including screed bed or bedding layer of 20mm thick in CM 1:6 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab with true & uniform joints including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of cement screed bed/bedding layer.

M&L for 18 to 20 mm thick granite (Jet Black) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms, wash basin counter and the like, set in cement mortar 1:4 including pointing in white cement 1:2 using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of cement screed bed/bedding layer.

M&L for rounding to edges of stone slabs (one edge), 18 to 20mm thick stone as in steps, cooking platform and other similar situations, including machine polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick plain cement conctere 1:3:6, type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, hard standing, etc, finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Plinth protection shall be of width as directed and shall be laid with an outward slope of 1:40 in alternative bays not exceeding 2.5 meter in length. Joints of 6 mm wide and 10 mm deep shall be provided along the wall and bays and same shall be filled with bitumen mastic filling comprising 1 part of heated bitumen Blown grade any penetration and 3 parts of sand (all by weight). Quoted rate of this item shall deemed to include this provision.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:4:8, type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4, type B2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles, 7 to 8mm thick, area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm (i.e. 600mm x 300mm / 450mm x 300mm as directed by Engineer-in-Charge), on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 10 mm thick back coat in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of cement screed/ plaster. (ii) Colour of tiles shall be got approved from GE before incorporation in the work.

M&L for factory made M-35 grade, 60 mm thick machine pressed, rubber moulded precast cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of shape and size as directed with grey cement and pigment confirming to IS: 15658-2006 (ISI marked), laid over and including 50 mm thick compacted sand cushion complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of 50 mm thick compacted sand cushioning. (ii) Shape of paver blocks shall be as approved by the GE.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means (any number of layers) by hand held sander/ long handle sander, rubbing down, stopping of distempered & Jet pressure washing and painted surface of wall and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 5.5mm thick sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty or wooden beads or fixed to aluminium sections exceeding 0.5 Sqm in each pane complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of wood or wood based materials of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified & as directed.

Disconnecting & taking out the existing serviceable transformer of capacity upto 500 kVA with all electrical HT/LT connections, earthing of body & neutral from INS Valsura Jamnagar and shifting of transformer to Power House/ Substation at Army Lines Jamnagar and installing & commissioning with necessary fixing arrangement including connecting up electrically, earthings, etc, commissioning and testing (till the existing transformer at Army Lines is repaired under relevant items of this BOQ), disconnecting & taking out the same transformer with all electrical HT/LT connections, earthing of body & neutral from Army Lines Jamnagar and shifting of transformer to INS Valsura Jamnagar and installing & commissioning with necessary fixing arrangement including connecting up electrically, earthings, etc, commissioning and testing, complete all as specified and as directed.
