REPAIR/RESURFACING OF CERTAIN ROADS, ROAD MARKING PAINT, ROAD FURNITURES AND ROAD BERMS AND ALLIED WORKS OF CERTAIN ROADS AT VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER DGNP(V).

Material & labour for repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water , scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. Cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG 10 @ 5Kg Per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (using paving bitumen VG 30) 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (with and including supply of pre mixed macadam, binder and chipping) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm rolled and compacted using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity all as specified and directed.

Preparing of metal top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at 5Kg Per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for bituminous premixed carpet, 20mm consolidated thickness, with 0.27 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 14.6 kg of binder using paving bitumen VG30, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder using paving bitumen VG30@ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum per 10 sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth surface using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No. 1.00, 3.00, 4.00 & 5.00: Binder content specified under items shall be for pricing purpose only. Any deviation in minus side shall be adjusted @Rs. 50.00 per KG of bitumen and no price adjustment shall be made for plus side variation.

Supply and fixing in repairs Cat Eye road reflectors studs of self illuminating flashing type having directional road reflectors studs shall be water proof IP 65 as per IS 12063-1987 category 2 size of Cat Eye road reflectors studs 100X100X20mm with complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for hot applied thermo setting road marking paint 2mm thick in shapes/signs as require exceeding 10cm to 50cm width (including Zebra crossing & speed breaker marking) white or golden yellow in colour including preparation of existing surfaces and glass beads retro reflective type as per ASTM standards complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs Solar road stud road lighting type having directional road reflectors studs shall be water proof , rechargeable Nickel cadmium battery to be charged through solar cell , main frame cast aluminium with poly carbonate cover over solar cell and reflective poly carbonate cover & fixed with epoxy of road with complete . ( Colour Green / Red), complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlars facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks type C-1, 1:3:6 (20mm graded crushed granite stone aggregate) exc 10cm in width and set in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick on other than fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:6 and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of floor, hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off from the premises of MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM 1:4 for laying tile etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for coloured chequered cement concrete tiles 30cmx30cmx25mm thick ,set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floor with using grey cement and no pigments complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking coloured paver block of any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade, jointed with grey cement and no pigment complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete type C-1 1:3:6 (20mm graded crushed granite stone aggregate) in copings and bed plates, etc., water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating with and including use of formwork, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for in repairs Plastic speed breaker made of special plastic compound ( and not ABS) which can take maximum load and impact . One meter should comprise of 2 yellow and 2 black blocks. The size of each block should be 350 x250x 50 mm and the weight of each block shall be not less than 950 Gms ( Without concrete filling) . The colours should be UV stabilized and not require re-painting . Each block of plastic nos 16 (GII-PSB50) speed bump should have 10 micro - prismatic reflectors on either side of it for easy night time visibility . The speed bump should be filled with concrete mix and then fixed to the ground surface with epoxy and nails. Speed Bump should have been tested for compression load for compression Load for at least 15 tons from NABL accredited Lab complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs 600 mm dia road side Convex Mirror with polycarbonate fixed to 40 mm bore MS pipe with clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs road side solar delinator of 80mm dia reflective type 4 nos super bright LED flash light , upper height is 145 mm fixed on 40 mm dia & 800 mm long prepainted MS pipe , grouted 200 mm in ground & 600 mm on above GL complete all as specified and directed.
