Construction of Vastrapur Main Gate Boundary Wall at New Campus

Earthwork : Excavation in all types of soils for foundations, including backfilling the sides in stages of 300mm and compacting and disposing surplus earth outside the campus as directed, all completed as directed and as per specifications and including shoring and strutting of sides as required. The rates shall include excavation, loading, transporting and unloading the excavated material. Actual excavated volume to be measured and paid.

Plain concrete work in (1:2:4) : Providing and laying, machine mixed, properly compacted plain concrete 100mm thick in foundation trench including ramming, consolidating, curing etc. All complete as per specifications.

Brick masonary work : Up to ground level: Providing and laying brick masonry work 450mm and 350 mm thickness with first quality approved bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4coarse sand) in true line level and plumb for wall foundation, pedestals, compound wall, steps, pillars etc. curing etc. complete as directed and specified. Filling joints with cement sand mortar. (Refer Annex-C for detailed drawing)

Exposed brick masonary : Above ground level: Providing and laying brick masonry work 350mm and 230 mm thickness by using first quality approved bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4coarse sand) in true line, level and plumb for walls, pillars and other similar locations etc. including racking the joints upto 20 mm depth, rubbing and cleaning the surface, with curing etc. complete as directed and specified. (Matching to existing IIMA buildings). It includes providing 100mm diameter PVC pipes as a weep holes-2nos per wall pannel. Expansion joints to be maintained as directed by EIC. (Refer Annex-C for detailed drawing)

Flush pointing : Providing cement flush pointing in CM (1:2) proportion. Including the racking of joints and filling with cement sand mortar. (Matching to existing IIMA buildings.

Reinforced concrete work in (1:1.5:3) : Providing and laying, machine mixed, properly compacted RCC in footing, tie beam and column including ramming, consolidating, curing etc. All complete as per specifications. (Excluding cost of formwork and reinforcement) Expansion joints to be maintained as directed by EIC. (Refer annex-D for detailed drawing)

Reinforcement work (HYSD FE-500) : Providing, fabricating and placing in position reinforcing bars, including binding with annealed GI binding wire for R.C elements, wastages, spacers, cover block (25mm for beam, 50mm for column & footing), etc. all complete for all diameters and as per specifications. (Refer Annex-D for detailed drawing)

Exposed finished formwork : Formwork concrete element such as columns etc. with definite pattern as directed. Either in steel and plywood with polyurethane coating. Actual exposed surface area shall be measured and paid.

Rough finished formwork : Formwork concrete element such as beam and footing etc. with definite pattern as directed. Either in steel and plywood with polyurethane coating. Actual surface area shall be measured and paid.
