Consolidation of subgrade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry spoils etc. and rerolling the subgrade.
Carriage of materials by mechanical transport including loading,unloading and stacking for a lead of 1.0 KM. a) Earth
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. a) With material conforming to Grade-III (size range 26.5 mm to 0.075 mm ) having CBR Value-20
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying Polythene Sheet (400 Micron thick ) conforming to IS 2508 antifriction layer on the sub base course complete as per specification with specified over lap between adjacent strip and transverse joint as per direction of Engineering-in-Charge. (Only plan area will be measured for payment)
Providing and laying 6mm thick (avarage) layer of sand in between polythence sheet and dry rolled lean concrete layer as per directions of Engineer-in-charge
Providing and laying Paverment Quality Concret (PQC) produced in a batching plant having a characteristic flexural strength. i.e. minimum flexural strenght of 41 Kg/cm2 at 28 days,using 350kg of cement per cum. Fine aggregade,graded stone aggregrade of 40mm nominal size in appropriate propotions as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawing/desing as approved and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including making necessary provision for expansion joint, joint cutter etc complete. The item for execution shall include the following operation: (a) Mechanically vibrated by using needle and surface vibrators, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channels/section including curing as per specification. (b) Mechanically cutting dummy joints of size 6mm wide and 1/3rd thickness of slab(minimum 100mm) and cutting construction joints of size 10mm wide & 24 mm deep as per specification. (c) Filling polysulphide sealant (pouring grade) in dummy,construction & expansion joints including providing expanded polythenlene foam back-up rod and painting side of joints with polysulphile primer etc. complete as per specification. (P/F Filler Board & P/L Sealant for Expansion joint shall be paid separately under item no.10 and 11 respectively )
Providing and laying in position for expansion joint 25 mm thick pre-cut synthetic joint filler board approved make confirming to IS : 1838 ( part - 3 ) 2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of polysulphide sealant), completed as per particular specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. (NOTE : Mode of measurement shall be length of joint multiplied by depth of filler board including precut portion)
Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212- 990 or IS: 11433-1995 in joints including fixing breaker rod, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant including expanded polyethylene armour rod in joints etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. & particular specifications. Details of Joints are as below: a) For Expansion joints 25mm wide x 10mm deep over 30 mm dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam breaker rod, as per manufacturers specifications.
Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign mater;al etc. and lining out complete. a) New work (Two or more coats)
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III): 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).
Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.
Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete.

(non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5.
Providing and Fixing of C.I.
