SUB-BASE COURSE / BASE COURSE

Stablllz€d Sub-base/Base: Providing, laying, spreading and compacting chemically Stabilized soil mix for Base Course on prepared Subgrade, including Pulverising, adding Designed quantity of IRC Accredited Additives/ Cement /Lime to the spreaded soil, proper mixing of soil & granular material with mixing in place method with Rotavator, Grading with Motor Grader and Compacting with Road Roller at OMC to achieve the Designed Unconfined Compressive Strength and to form a layer of base strictly as per technical specification clause 404 and Method Statement of Technology provider (Procedure and Method Statement duly Approved by IRC). including cost of all material, labour, T&P €tc required for proper completion of work, (Soil Stabilisation Design will be provided by the contractor from NABL Accredited Laboratory), followed by Field Tests for CBR, Field Dry Density, UCS, Durability as per defined Sampling Frequency specified in MORD. Post Laying Tests and Soll Properties shall fullfil the Design Requirement.

Prime Coat with Appropriate Technologr duly Accredited by IRC to achieve Enhanced Spreadibility, Uniform Coverage, Penetration Improvement, Lower Residual Bitumen, Improved Water Resistance, euick Setting and Reduced Consumption used with cationic bitumen emulsion CSS1 (lRC Approved)- as per MORD Section 502 used with Recommended Doses and Method Statement of Additive by Manufacturer / Technolory Provider (Duly Approved and Accredited by IRC)

OGPC with Appropriate Technolopr duly Accredited by IRC: Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates with using penetration grade Bitumen mixed with Additive for enhansed performance and durability to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity as per MORD Section 506, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause S08. The Additive shall be IRC Accredited and Doses and Method Statement as Recommended by Manufacturer / Technology Provider (Duly Approved and Accredited by tRC)

Seal Coat with Appropriate Technolory duly Accredited by IRC: providing and laying seal coat mixed with Additive, sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type & Type B and Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510. The Additive shall be IRC Accredited and Doses and Method Statement as Recommended by Manufacturer / Technology Provider

(3) Maintenance of shoulders to the required level by filling/cutting the soil and its compacting including disposal of the surplus material in approved muck disposal points as per technical specification clause 1903 (4) Maintenance of scuppers & culverts by way of clearing, cleaning, erosion repair, repair to crack, parapet walls and protection works as per technical specification clause 1908. (5) Maintenance of Causeway by way of minor surface repairs, replacing guide posts, repair of fixed gauges, removal of debris providing boulders and protection works and painting as per technical specification clause 1909. (6) Maintenance of road signs by way of cleaning and repainting of mandatory / requlatory / cautionary / informatory and place identifications sign board as per drawings and technical specification Clause 1910. (8)Repairing of pot holes by removal of loose material, trimming of sides, cleaning of surface and providind tack coat bitumen emulsion and patch repair with 20 mm thick premix carpeting and type B seal coat using biyumen bitumen emuision(in 3rd and 5th year) (9)Two coat White washing on parapet walls of CD work, edge stones, tree truncks and prominent rocks, patches on hill sides including preparation of surface by cleaning scrapping etc. as per Technical specification Clause 191.
