Painting Work at 132 KV S/S TRT

Following works are to be carried out and completed at 132 KV S/S TRT under ETD-I, Lucknow.

Spray/ Brush Painting work of various equipment’s done after removing foreign material from the surface. The surface to be painted is to be cleaned again and again by dry cotton and steel wire brushes. After proper cleaning red oxide primer is to be applied on the surface is to be painted and left to be dried for 24-48 hrs. After drying of red oxide primer the surface is to be painted by smoke grey paint of best quality in two coats/ as per instruction of AE (M)/ JE (M) on the following equipment’s.

Repairing/ Painting of the fire bucket stands by post office red colour paint and writing on it various fire S/S telephone numbers on one side and S/S name on other side and writing, Writing “AAG” (in Hindi) and ‘FIRE’ on sand stands.

Painting of Sand buckets/drums available at the following 132 KV Substation TRT, Lucknow. The sand buckets shall be painted by post office red colour paint in two coats after proper preparation of surface. Topping up of sand in sand buckets and writing “AAG” (in Hindi) and ‘FIRE’ on sands buckets.

Brush painting of complete surface of the Pale Fencing including its MS strip Horizontal Runners MS Angle Frames, MS Angle Vertical Uprights etc around the substation by due rubbing with sand paper & wire Brush, cleaning with thin cotton cloth and finally applying 1 cost of red oxide primer and then 2 coat of Green colour 1 st quality synthetic enamel Paints of Asian/ Berger make at the gap of 48 hours each after due repairing of damaged pale by welding/knitting etc. as per requirement. (Note- The second coat shall be applied when Ist coat of paint is done and checked by AE (M)/JE (M) concerned).
