INSTALLATION OF DG SETS AT 110KV SS AND ADMIN BUILDING AT FACT-CD, AMBALAMEDU

Loading, transportation, unloading and leading of 125KVA DG set from FACT CD store to the proposed site and erection of the same onto the existing foundation. The scope of work also includes fixing the DG set on to the foundation. The truck and crane required for transportation will be arranged by FACT free of cost subject to availability. However the slings, nylon belts, spreaders to move straps away from the body of the genset, while lifting shall be arranged by the contractor. The materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor.

The scope of work also includes fixing the DG set on to the foundation. The truck and crane required for transportation will be arranged by FACT free of cost subject to availability. The materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply and erection of Pipe earth electrode as per I.S. 3043 / 2018 and IS 732:2019. The scope of work also includes supply of earthing strip, providing earth chamber, cover slab and pit numbering etc. All the required materials for completion of work shall be supplied by the contractor. The scope of work also includes termination of earth cables to the earthing strip using suitable lugs/fastners etc.

Supply of 650 Volt grade, 1C X 95 sq mm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable as per IS 694, with latest amendments and with ISI marking & Cable length to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer sheath.

Laying of 1C x 95 sq.mm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable. The scope of work also includes drilling, minor civil works, routing through GI pipes, clamping earth cable in a spacing of 300mm using suitable aluminium clamps / GI saddles to the walls/risers/existing concrete trenches & cable trays/MS sections etc. All the materials required for the work including Aluminium clamps/GI saddles etc shall be supplied by the contractor.

Providing new cable trench and laying of 1C x 95 sq mm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable in the trench. The scope of work shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 600mm, laying of cable, supply and laying of well burned bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection, backfilling of trench after laying cables. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables.

Termination of earth cables to earth strips/neutral link / body earth terminals using aluminium lugs. Aluminium lugs ( 95 sq mm ) & fastners of suitable size shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of 1100V, copper conductor PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, flexible, FRLS cable of size 1C x 35 sq.mm confirming to IS 694. Acceptable makes: POLYCAB/FINOLEX/UNIVERSAL/CABLE CORPORATION OF INDIA /GLOSTER/KEI/KEC/TORRENT/NICCO/INCAB

Supply of UPVC pipe, 50mm dia.

Laying of 50mm UPVC pipe. The scope of work includes drawing 35sq.mm, 2no. copper cable & 1no 5C x 2.5 sq mm cable through 50mm pipe and fix it on wall by using suitable size of Al. clamps. The required materials for the work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Providing cable trench for laying of 2no, 1C x 35sq.mm & 1 no 5C x 2.5 sq mm, PVC insulated, unarmoured/armoured, PVC sheathed flexible copper cables through the UPVC pipe. The scope shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 600mm and backfilling of the trench after cable laying. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trenches and not for the cables.

Glanding and termination of power cables (copper) of size 1C x 35 sq. mm. The scope of work includes glanding, termination and connection of cables with suitable cable lugs, ferrules, arranging and dressing the leads / cables and clamping/tying to supports etc. The flexible conduit pipe and PVC glands of suitable size shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of 650/1100 V, Aluminium conductor, 4C x 185 sq mm PVC Insulated, PVC Sheathed (FRLS), Galvanised Round / Flat Steel armoured aluminium Cable conforming to IS 1554/Part I of 1988 or IS 7098 Part I, with latest amendments and with Cable length & ISI marking, to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer Sheath of the Cable. Laying combined clamping of power cable of size 4C x 185 sq. mm. and 5C x 2.5 sq.mm. The scope of work includes laying of cables through walls/ risers / cable trays, dressing and clamping the cable at regular intervals with Aluminium clamps/GI saddles, not exceeding 500 mm, drilling holes, providing name tags, minor civil work etc. All materials required for clamping and termination such as clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, cable tags, etc shall be supplied by the contractor.

Glanding and termination of power cables of sizes 4C x 185 sq. mm. The scope of work includes glanding , gland earthing ,termination and disconnection of existing cables (if required), connection of cables with suitable cable lugs, ferrules, arranging and dressing the leads / cables and clamping/tying to supports etc. The crimping lugs, gland earthing shim, hardwares in this regard and Nickel plated Brass Single Compression type cable gland, with ring, rubber bush, lock nut etc. suitable for the cable shall be supplied by the contractor.

Glanding and termination of cables of sizes 5C x 2.5 sq. mm. The scope of work includes glanding, gland earthing, termination and connection of cables with suitable copper lugs, ferrules, arranging and dressing the leads / cables and clamping/tying to supports etc. The crimping lugs(copper), gland earthing shim, hardwares in this regard and Nickel plated Brass Single Compression type cable gland, with ring, rubber bush, lock nut etc. suitable for the cable shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of change over panel. The technical details of the panel to be supplied as below: Panel board size: 120cm x 60cm x 20cm or above. KSEB incomer: MCCB 125 Amps, (current setting 60-100%)-1No, DG incomer: MCCB 125A,2P,10KA (current setting 60-100%) -1No ATS (motorised), 125A, 4P-1No, MCB,1P,32A,6KA C type -18 Nos, MCB, 1P,20A,6KA,C type-9Nos, MCB, 1P, 16A,6KA, C type-9nos Phase failure relay-1No. Copper bus bar (125amp) with heat shrink insulated including neutral & earth bus and necessary wiring. The scope also include fabrication of panel in 16 SWG,CRCA sheet steel, powder coated in cubicle type, totally enclosed, wall mounted, dust & vermin proof, suitable door and door beedings, top & bottom detachable cable entry plate etc fully meeting the all requirements specified including sign boards.

Dismantling of existing DG panel and Installation of new change over panel. The scope of work include disconnection of existing cable, removal of existing panel, re-arranging of cables & earth bench, fixing of new changeover panel, reconnection of disconnected cables, glanding, termination, testing and commissioning etc. complete. The changeover panel shall be mounted on the wall using MS brackets grouted/anchored to the wall. The scope of work shall also include glanding and termination of incomers and outgoing cables, connecting to earth/neutral circuits, dressing etc. The scope of work shall include chipping, ,fixing, bolting, grouting, re-plastering, welding, clamping, minor civil works etc. and supply of materials required for the successful completion of the work such as cement, rubbles, M-sand ,M.S angles, nickel plated brass glands, fastners, anchor bolts, Aluminium/Copper cable lugs etc.

Installation of the changeover panel. The scope of work include the panel shall be mounted on the wall using MS brackets grouted/anchored. The scope of work shall also include glanding & gland earthing and termination of incoming & outgoing cables, dressing and connections to MCCBs, MCBs, earth/neutral buses and neatly dressing of cables inside the panel. Spare slots provided for mounting MCB if any shall be properly blanked. The scope of work shall include chipping, ,fixing, bolting, grouting, re-plastering, welding, clamping, minor civil works etc. and supply of materials required for the successful completion of the work such as cement, rubbles, M-sand ,M.S angles, nickel plated brass glands, fastners, anchor bolts, Aluminium/Copper cable lugs etc. complete.
