Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre deep for laying water main pipe/ cables etc., getting out and forming bottom surface to required gradient, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, of soft/ loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up/down corroded/unserviceable 250mm bore CI pipes and connection from trenches including connected fittings/accessories/lead and removing unserviceable pipes from site including necessary excavation & earth work and making good/leveled of excavated area complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing & testing of ductile iron pipes of 250 mm bore with socketed and spigot ends suitable for tyton joints centrifugally cast (spun) class 'K-9' confirming to IS: 8329 in any length laid in trenches with cement mortar internal lining and external zinc coating with a bitumen finishing layer as per IS, including necassary joints/spares complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing & testing of ductile iron pipes of 250 mm bore with double flaged ends centrifugally cast (spun) class 'K-9' confirming to IS: 8329 including rubber gasket for flange joint, nut, bolts & washers ISI marked in any length laid in trenches with cement mortar internal lining and external zinc coating with a bitumen finishing layer as per IS, including necassary joints/spares complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item Nos 5.00 & 6.00: Excavation , earth work & DI fittings shall be measured & paid separately.

Supplying and fixing cast iron sluice valve, heavy duty, Class PN 1.6 with flanged ends, 250 mm nominal bore, ISI marked, any pattern with stainless steel spindle and cast iron cap, conforming to IS 14846 of 2000 including jointing material flanged joint rubber/ fibre board gasket 6mm thick nuts, mild steel bolt , washer, etc complete including taking down old unserviceable sluice valves complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing cast iron air release valve, with two oulets 200mm bore and fixing up in DI water supply pipe mains complete all with all necessary fittings including taking down old existing air release valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Matereial and labour for ductile iron pipe fittings upto 250mm bore for socket and spigot / flanged pipe such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch, `Y` junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- DI pipe fittings shall be of the same brand as that of DI pipe and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), as in bed of channel,foundation filling/ channel bedding and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brick masonry valve pit nominal size 120 cm x 120 cm x 120 cm (Internal size) with one brick thick wall using sub class 'B' brick in cement mortar 1:6 over 20 cm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 platform with 15 cm off set on all sides including 50mm thick coping in PCC(1:2:4) type B1 at top of brickwall and plastering of internal surfaces and exposed surfaces with 15 mm thick in cement mortarf 1:4 with 2mm thick openable mild steel sheet cover in two parts welded around to 40x40x5mm angle frame including suitable size holdfasts, hinges etc and locking arrangement and lifting handle with all steel/iron surfaces painted with two coats approved clour synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The valve pit shall be constructed as per HQ CE CHZ drawing No. TD-1258. The said drawing may be referred from GE office during working hours.

Supply and fixing of bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required: hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges: large hasps and staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wall ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 4923700.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No. 16R of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
