Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-incharge complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas n.exc 1.50 m deep and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling consolidating for formarion surface in cutting with power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 ton to achive 98% density if OMC modified proctor density complete all as specified and directed.

M&L hard core of guage not exc. 63mm deposited spread and levelled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface using broken stone & boulders complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for 25 mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand dust clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness layer over DLC Layer. The sand cushion must not contain stones/other hard or uneven material organic matter complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm over sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips as minimum 100mm and at transverse joints at ends as minimum 300mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The rate quoted above shall include overlaps and no additional amount to be paid for overlap (ii) Sand layer shall be measured and paid seperately

M & L for 150 mm thick pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45Kg/Sqcm or 4.5MPa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 kg/cum of cement with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 MPa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with fixed form paver including necessary formwork of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing machine . Required surface texturing to be done as specified in clause 10.1.14 and Table 9 of IRC 15-2017 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only non circular ,virgin ,synthetic monofilament polyester fibers of length 12mm to 18mm , specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39 UV stable alkali resistance equivelent diameter 15-40 micron minimum melting temp 250°C and minimum tensile strength 300 mpa be used up to @ 0.25 % by weight of cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for finishing surface of concrete pavement by brooming of Concrete pavemet complete while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of approriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned throughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and others debries. The joint then filled with pre molded 25mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backard movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed inked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealent as per the method specfied by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Rounding of edge shall be done with hand grinder upto 5-6 mm dia. (ii) While cutting expansion joint, cutting machine should have facilities of arrangement of dual blade spaced at expansion joint width such that joint can be formed at a time.

M&L cutting of construction joints 25 mm deep and 10 mm wide by early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of approriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned throughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and others debries. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealent. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed inked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond braker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealent as per the method specfied by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Primer to be used before filling sealant (ii) Edges shall be levelled and joints cut within 24 hours using diamond bit cutters of Bosch or equivalent used for cutting green concrete. (iii) The vertical edges or sides of concrete of construction joint shall be treated with a coat of lime wash or bituminous paint before concreting the adjacent bay.

M&L for forming dummy / contraction joint with an intial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab,widening of first saw cut to 6mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of approriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned throughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and others debries. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backard movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant.
