Taking down carefully Gen Set by unscrewing nuts and bolts from its base mounting and lifting up both the Gen Sets with hydraulic crane in lorry and transporting to work shop for repair dismantling tappet cover, cylinder head assembly, engine block, removing piston assembly, connecting rods, cleaning, servicing and overhauling engine complete, grinding cranckshaft, fixing new sleeves as per required size, grinding / resurfacing cylinder head assembly, replacing & grinding valve seats, replacing cylinder liner and piston assembly, adjusting tappet gap and rocker arm assembly , re-assembling all the dismantled components to its original position, size including testing the machnine to its optimum efficiency to the entire satisfaction and as directed by Engr-in-Charge for the following capacity of Gen Sets :- NOTE : (a) Contractor will carry out comprehensive maint and servicing through technically qualified staff having an experience of ten years atleast (b) Contractor will give guarantee for one year in writting from the certified date of completion for the complete overhauling carried out. Any fault accurring during gaurantee period shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the department . (c) Replacement of any extra spares expect as mentioned in engine overhauling shall be measured and paid seprately under such relevent items and fixing charges of spares shall be deemed to be inclusive in rates quoted for sch item ser No 1.

Comprehensive maint and servicing of DG SET complete including draining out diesel from tank, cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, drain out engine oil from the sump, flushing the sump thoroughly and filling the batteries with electrolite to maintain the required specific gravity of the batteries, applying the petroleum jelly on battery terminal poles and charging up to required amperage, cleaning the entire DG set including all accessories as prescribed by Engr-in charge and checking voltage, frequency, ampere, fuel, oil, coolant level and exhuast leakage etc. Tightening all the bolts & nuts to the required torque etc. and testing as directed by Engineer In Charge and recording the test result complete for the Make : Cummins/ Kirloskar / Ashok Leyland etc, installed at MH power houses, MH Dental, AMN Depot Naraingarh, signal centre, Raina auditorium, butchery, Allenby PH etc. Notes:- (a)Contractor will carry out comprehensive maint and servicing through technically qualified staff having an experience of ten years atleast (b) Cost of spare parts replaced shall be measured and paid separately. (c) Engine oil shall be measured and paid separately-

Draining out water from the radiator, Dismantling opening and taking out radiator from the foundation and transporting to civil workshop for repair including Maintenance and Servicing of Radiator and cleanning the radiator thoroughly with cleaning agent to improve the efficiency of the radiator, welding / soldering / brazing of radiator for the undermentioned DG sets complete all as directed. Notes:- (a) Contractor will carry out comrehensive maint and servicing listed in respective items through qualified tecnical staff only. Dismantling opening and taking down unserviceable fuel injection pump and transportation to civil wksp for repair, maintenance and servicing of fuel injection pump (FIP) including phasing & caliberation of Fuel injection pump, replacement of injectors, nozzles etc if any found defective, and refitting the same in position for smooth and efficient functioning of FIP for the under mentioned DG sets all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : - (a) Repairs will be carried out from authorised workshop of manufacturer of DG set. Maintenance and servicing of self starter 12/24 Volt of DG set installed at various installations and servicing/overhauling including replacing of worn out parts like solenoid switch, bearing, clutch, synchromesh gear, carbon brush, drive end plunger, rewinding the starter motor winding wth suitale size super enamelled copper wire including varnishing complete etc. and refitting the self starter in position for smooth functioning of DG sets and testing complete in all respect all as directed by Eng-in-Charge.
