STAGE 2:- Brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per Sq meter complete all as specified and directed STAGE 3:- 10mm thick cement rendering in cement mortar 1:4 over green neat cement slurry to receive roof treatment and finished even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with water proofing compound (ratio WPC and cement as per manufacture instructions) as in grading to RCC roof surface STAGE 4:- Applying tack coat of priming the surface with a coat of hot blown bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.2 kg/Sqm each at bottom of the membrane as bonding material STAGE 5:- (i) Laying APP based modified polymer membrane with non woven polyester reinforced 3mm thick & weight not less than 3.5 Kg/Sqm with 7.5 cm side lap and 10 cm over lap at ends. (ii) APP membrane shall be laid on primed surface by torch application method . The overlap shall be of minimum 75 mm on longitudinal direction and 100 mm on the transverse direction. (iii) All joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar (1:3) mixed with SBR latex @ 200 ml/ bag of cement and curved well before laying membrane by torching.(iv) All angles and abutments should be sealed well with extra care to ensure full bondage(v) Water proofing treatment shall be done by authorized applicators who are certified by firms for quality application and shall be carried out all as per the instructions given in the application guide of the manufacturer. A guarantee certificate in this respect must be submitted additionally to the department immediately after completion of the work by the contractor obtaining from the manufacturer alongwith his guarantee certificate. (vi) Contractor shall submit original invoice and manufacturer’s test certificate of membrane directly from company to the GE before membrane is accepted. GE shall compare the result with the tender specification and membrane shall be accepted if the results meet the technical characteristic specified here-in-before. STAGE 6:- A coat of bituminous aluminium primer @ 100 gm/Sqm on top, including sealing all joints by thermo fusion, and one coat silver paint on it all as per manufacturer's instructions
