Notes:- (i) The plan of Solar plant on each building along with make/manufacturer of each & every item with detailed specifications shall be submitted by the contractor to GE and the same shall be approved by the GE before execution of work.
(ii):- The installed system should be such that during the day, the power needs should be first met by Solar energy. In case the solar energy production is less than the required, the deficit power should be pulled automatically from the state government electric supply. All the while giving preference to complete consumption of solar energy first.
(iii) In case the solar energy production is more than the required , the surplus power should be transmitted automatically to the state government electric supply feeder/grid.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Removal of excavated surplus material to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material & Labour for Cutting GI pipes and reducing to required length before laying in position for insertion of new tees, braches etc of size up to 80 mm dia ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material & Labour for submain wiring with two run of 4 Sqmm FRLSH PVC insulated copper conductor alongwith one run 4 sqmm earth wire of FRLSH PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable , multistranded with and including suitable size of PVC concealed conduit and all accessories concealed in walls / roofs / ceiling etc. earth dolly, terminated in terminal box ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Two runs (2 x 4 Sqmm) of copper conductor and one run of earth copper conducter (1 x 4 Sqmm) shall be measured as one length .
Supply and fixing for provided sheet metal enclosures distribution boards, double door VTPN, 415 volts 4 way suitable for fixing MCCB as incomer and MCBs as out going (One incoming three phase & eight outgoings single phase ) for MCCB & MCBs comprising three phase four wire copper strip bus bar of appropriatee capacity ; complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In Charge. Note: (i) The DB shall be VTPN series. (ii) The DB shall be flush fixed and making good the distrubed surface matching with existing specifications shall be part of work no extra cost. (iii) Connection of the MCCBs and MCBs with cable shall be made through appropriate sie pin/bottle type thimble properly crimped. (iv) All the vacant holes of the DB shall be provided with blank plates of appropriate size. (v) Double continuous earth wire shall be provided for each three phase DB from earthing mains dolly. (vi) MCCB and MCB shall be measured & paid separately.
Supply and fixing for 3 Pole MCCB 63 Amp, 415 Volts with rupturing capacity 16 KA ; complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In Charge.
Supply and fixing for MCB, single pole, 240 volts, 6 to 32 Amps with rupturing capacity 10KA, ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Taking down serviceable MCBs from the existing DBs and re-fixing the same MCBs in newly fitted VTPN DBs and distribute the load ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material & Labour for wiring with copper conductor single core FRLS-H unsheathed cable 6 Sqmm for inside TPN DB wiring connect to existing sub main wiring ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
PHASE II (DURING DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD OF TWO YEARS) Outsourcing of services for Manning and Operation (For the first 11 months from the date of completion of Phase I, During Defect Iiability Period) of Rooftop Solar Power plant of Cap 350KW on 20 Buildings at Samba Mil Stn respectively by employing one No Electrician (Skilled) for all rooftop solar plants for one shift of eight hours including Sundays and Holidays after completion of work. The rooftop Solar Power Plant shall comprise of the following :- [a] Solar PV Modules (If the PV Modules found defective the contractor will replace the same within warranty/Guarantee period without extra cost to Govt.) [b] On grid inverters outdoor type (If theInverters found defective the contractor will replace the same within warranty/Guarantee period without extra cost to Govt.) [c] ACDBs and DCDBs [d] LT Panels Outdoor type double door [e] Lightening protection system ESE type & conventional earthing. [f] On grid Data Acquistition/Plant monitoring system [g] Water tapping posts and piping for washing of modules [h] AC and DC Cable network and Communication cable network and metering units. Notes :- (i) Minimum qualification for electrician (skilled) is ITI with minimum three years experience or Seven Years experience in handling solar power plant of Cap minimum 1 MW.
(ii) Staff employed by the contractor shall carry out daily cleaning , checking/maintenance of equipments as mentioned here-in-before and internal portion of installation and external cleaning all around the installation premises and maintain installation in presentable condition all time all as specified and directed. (iii) Staff employed shall be responsoble for washing of solar modules with the help of running water and wiping and drying the modules completely. The contractor shall provide wipers, washing hose/pipe and cotton clothes to the staff deployed without any extra cost. (iv) The contractor shall take a printout of Daily Generation report of the each SPV Plant on A4 size paper and submit to Engineer-in-charge on dailly basis. Also he will keep a record of the same on a register, which shall be made available to Enginner-in-Charge on weekly basis. Providing ink cartridge suitable for the printer and A4 sheets is contractor's responsibility without any extra cost. He will also provide daily log sheets, shutdown register, breakdown register, first aid kit etc to the staff deployed. Daily log sheets, shutdown register and breakdown register duly entered with real time data shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge on weekly basis. (v) Any breakdown in the plant shall be intimated to JE concerned and Engineer-in-Charge within an hour of event, otherwise a penalty of Rs. 100/- per hour shall be levied on the contractor. (vi) The contractor shall carry out routine check and maintain log sheet daily/weekly/monthly, upkeep the installation and rectify normal troubleshooting for smooth functioning of installations.
(vii) Contractor will maintain log sheet daily and submit to department duly completed along with attendance sheet and payment register. (viii) Shift timing shall be as per directed by Engr in charge. (ix) Contractor shall also provide proper uniform (Winter & Summer) as approved by the GE to operators.if any operator is found without uniform penalty @ Rs. 500.00 per shift per operator shall be recovered from the Contractor. (x) Necessary T&P, ladders, hand gloves (02 sets), tool kits etc for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (xi) The contractor shall abide by EPF, ESI and minimum wages rules imposed and ammended by govt time time to time. (xii) Any defects occuring in Solar PV modules, Inverter, ACDB, DCDB, cables and weather monitoring system due to manufacturing defects shall be replaced by the contractor free of cost.
Description all as per Item No 19 & 19.02 above but (For the second 11 months from the date of completion of Phase I, During Defect Iiability Period). The Work Order shall be placed separately.

PHASE III (PERIOD OF THREE YEARS AFTER DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD) Outsourcing of services for Comprehensive Maintenance and Operation (For the first 11 months after two years of Defect Liability Period ) of Rooftop Solar Power plant of Capacity 350KW on 20 buildings in Zorawar line, Parel line, Kohima Line & Chopra line at Samba Mil Stn by employing One No Skilled Electrician for one shift of eight hours including Sundays and Holidays after completion of Phase-II work with and including making good of all kind of defects by repair/ replacement of required spare parts as the case may be to maintain the designed output of solar plant on all roof tops. The rooftop Solar Power Plant shall comprise of the following :- [a] Solar PV Modules (If the PV Modules found defective the contractor will replace the same within warranty/Guarantee period without extra cost to Govt.) [b] On grid inverters outdoor type (If theInverters found defective the contractor will replace the same within warranty/Guarantee period without extra cost to Govt.) [c] ACDBs and DCDBs [d] LT Panels Outdoor type double door [e] Lightening protection system ESE type & conventional earthing. [f] On grid Data Acquistition/Plant monitoring system [g] Water tapping posts and piping for washing of modules [h] AC and DC Cable network and Communication cable network and metering units. (xv) Recovery during non functioning of solar plant Rs.3000/hour shall be imposed on contractor.
