Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc400 sqm (exc 50 mm and n exc 100 mm deep)complete all as specified and directed . (Note:-(a) The rates include for scarifying by power or by hand picking. (b) The items for scarifying include raking over and grading the broken up surfaces to the proper camber etc. as required.)

M & L 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) type of aggregate limestone,sand stone,Flint or Quartzite, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed . (Note:-(a) The thickness measured shall be the compacted finished thickness. (b) The unit rates include forming clay puddle bunds (retaining fillets) on both edges of spread aggregate. (c) When work is done in two layers, each layer shall be measured separately.)

M& L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer by using paving bitumen(VG-30) at 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed by GE.

M& L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer by using paving bitumen(VG-30) at 10 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed by GE.

M&L for OGPC using waste plastic technology 40 mm thick open graded premix carpeting using bituminous binder mixing with processed waste plastic ( as per IRC SP 98 2013 and laying and rolling of 40 mm thick open graded premixed carpet composed of 13.2 mm graded size @0.36 cum per 10 Sqm and 11.20 mm graded aggregate size @ 0.18 cum per 10 sqm using bituminous binder @ 26.86 kg of binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30 i.e. 92% bitumen) with 2.34 kg shredded plastic( 8 % waste processed plastic by weight shall be used for coating aggregate after heating) laid with mechanical paver and rolled & compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.(Note:-Defect liability period of entire contract are Twenty four calendar months according to Amendment No.48 of IAFW-2249 ,General Condition of Contracts,forming part of contract agreement.During Defect liability period repairs in all respect including patches/potholes shall be repaired by contractor without any extra cost.Unit rate are deemed to inclusive on these account).

M & L liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder as paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum per l0 sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with exc 8 ton n exc 12 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed by GE.

M & L for premix bituminous macadam consolidated thickness Avg 75 mm mixed with 4% binder using VG-30 Bitumen binder, laid with mechanical paver, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer by using paving bitumen(VG-30) at 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 1.5mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters, zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
