Replacement of seal strips of cooler/dryer in NP Plant A and B stream,FACT CD

Replacement of seal strips of cooler / dryer in NP Plant A or B stream. Work involves : The materials required for the work shall be collected / transported from plant area / stores to site. After getting the clearance, necessary scaffoldings shall be arranged at site. The damaged seal strips, holding metal rings and locking plates / cleats shall be removed. The required new seal strip shall be prepared from conveyor belts with bolt holes using hollow punch to suit the site condition. The new seal strip holding metal rings for both ends of each seal strip and locking plates / cleats shall be fabricated as per the instruction Engineer in-charge. The new seal strip shall be fixed properly with holding metal rings at both ends of each seal strip and suitable locking plates / cleats. Necessary tightening arrangements shall be made / welded to avoid any leakage / spillage of material. Fixing of bolt on the casing and any patchwork / minor modification required for fixing the seal strip shall be done as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge. After completing the work, the scaffolding shall be removed.
