REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS IN THE ZONE-A, ZONE-B AND ZONE-C AT DEFENCE LAB JODHPUR

M&L Repair to pot holes any depth exc 30mm,not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or waters, scoring sunken surfaces in roads,paths,etc. cutting around edges to atleast 30mm in depth and making good by applying a tack coat of bitumenous primer @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg per Sqm blinded with 0.09cum of stone chippings ,6.3mm size and again wheel rammed (incluidng supply of premix macadam,binder and chippings) with 8 to 12 tonne power roller as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using 4 % binder (paving bitumen) by weight of total mix laid manually or with mechanical pavers (consolidated thickness 75mm or less), rolled and compacted to gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller all as specified.

Preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunnny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 Grade@ 5 kg / 10 Sqm of road surface by bitumen sprayer operated by hot pressure mechanism and laying 30mm (consolidated thickness) bitumenous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete using 5.5% binder(paving bituminous VG-30 grade) contents by weight of total mix, heating the bitumen to the required temperature and mixing bituminous concrete in hot mix plant, laying, spreading uniformly using mechanical paver and rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to the required camber and gradient and rolling to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified.

M&L for marking of center line,side line etc as per IRC pattern with 2.5mm thickness thermoplastic road marking compound of approved quality using 8% mica of white /yellow colour (colour as approved by Engineer-in-charge) on bituminous/concrete road surface of temperature 160 degree celcious with a special applicator machine complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge including reflective glass beads (or microspheres) cleaning the surfaces of all loose dirt,dust and other foreign materials,demarcation at site and managing the traffic control etc complete.

S&F in replacement dual directional reflective cat eye of of size 90 mm x 90 mm of impact resistance ABS plastic stud having ultra violet resistance colour with plastic strip containing 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/ red/ yellow to each side and fixed with 12mm dia 120mm long zinc plated steel nails at the centre of cat eye by hammering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make:- Seimen/Dark Eye/3M/TATA/Road star/Alfa gold.

Supply and fixing as in replacement solar stud made of aluminium die cast Matte finish (Sand blasted), confirming to IS 617-1994 designation 4520 compresive strenght 179 kn with min 125 x 125 x 25 mm(Shank 65mm) tested as per IP 65 in accordance wiyh IS 12063 : 1987 category 2 for protection against water ingress, tested as per IEC 1215 (between -40 to 85 degrees centigrade) found be working satisfactorily for 125 hrs, tested as per QM 333 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :-Sinor infrastructure model no DA 110 DHRUV or equivalent of 3M/TATA BP/ ABS Engineering/ Plaza Power.

M&L Convex mirror made up of PC materials having clear & definite mirror image , 130 degree of viewing angle of size 1000 mm dia, provided on existing MS pipe including removal of old existing mirror, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing as in replacement solar delineator (1000x47 mm) is made of polycarbonate and toughened aluminium alloy body, Height - 145mm, dia meter-80mm, comprises of 4 super bright LEDs which give 360 degree viewing angle, solar pannel 2.5 V, 120 mm (approx) 1.25V rechargbeable battery - 1 No embedded in PCC block of size 300x300x450mm made of 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm grade aggregrate) including necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :-Sinor infrastructure solar delineator or equivalent of TATA BP/ DARK EYE/ 3M.
