PILING WORK Boring, providing and installation bored cast-in-situ reinforced cement concrete piles of garde M-40 (Minimum cement content -as per design mix ) of specified diameter and length below pile cap, to carry a safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of boring with bentonite solution and temporary casing of appropriate length for setting out and removal of same and the length of the pile to be embedded in the pile cap etc. by Crawler mounted, telescopic boom hydraulic pilling Rig all complete, including removal of excavated earth with all its lifts and leads (length of pile for payment shall be measured up to bottom of pile cap). Note:(i)Truck Mounted rotary/TMR/Tube well boring machine shall not be used. (ii) Piles are to be founded with a socketting legth of 2D into the appropriate strata Note: Design Mix approval shall be obtained by EPI. However RMC supply scope is with bidder. Thesource of RMC is as follows: 1) Ultratech RMC atchuthapuram 2) Sravani RMC , Atchuthapuram , base rate for M-40 is Rs . 6400.00 3) trimme pile is under bidder scope 4) the wastage of concrete shall not be separately 5) Breakig first 1.2 m depth / depth specified by DGNP is under the scope of the bidder.

Conducting routine vertical load test for 1.5 times safe load carrying capacity by means of High Strain Dynamic Load Test including provision and erection of crane- hammer-drop mechanism, acceleration and displacement velocity transducers to record both force and velocity including excavation, dewatering, preparation of pile head including building up of pile, additional reinforcement if any etc. all complete as per approved method (ASTM D4945-89), submission of test report, specifications and instructions of the Engineer for piles of following diameter :

Lateral load testing of single pile in accordance with IS Code of practice IS : 2911 (Part IV) for determining safe allowable lateral load on pile :
Upto 50 tonne capacity pile
Above 50 tonne and upto 100 tonne capacity pile
Integrity testing of Pile using Low Strain/ Sonic Integrity Test/ Sonic Echo Test method in accordance with IS 14893 including surface preparation of pile top by removing soil, mud, dust & chipping lean concrete lumps etc. and use of computerised equipment and high skill trained personal for conducting the test & submission of results, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in- charge.
Conducting cross-hole test in Bored Cast In-situ piles through 50 mm diameter PVC pipes shall be embedded (minimum numbers of pipes are indicated against each diameter of piles) during the construction, including cleaning the PVC pipes, supply of testing equipment and approach, carrying out the test by a qualified and experienced personnel, interpretation of results, submission of test reports complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer, for pile having diameter of: Note:- The Test to be conducted within 3 day from the date of installation of pile otherwise payment shall not be made under this item. It shall be paid under item 2.9.6

800 mm-(minimum 5 Numbers PVC pipes to be embedded) ( the same applicable for 900 mm or 1000 mm dia)
Conducting standard penetration tests as per IS: 2131 through pipe in all types of soil during boring only for such piles as directed, all as specified at every one metre interval, 16 m onwards from existing ground level and recording accurately the penetration.
Fabrication , Erection and Driving of 6mm / 8mm thick liner maximum upto 8.00m depth for any dia unsign rigs, cranes and including all tool and tackles. Liner material will be supplied by EPI
