Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 nominal size)

Reinforced cement concrete work ( 1:1.5:3) to lines and levels at all elevations consolidating curing etc excluding cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement. (1 cement 1.5 coarse sand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed as per approved design mix for reinforced cement concrete woks to lines and levels at all elevation including all lead and lift , pumping of concrete, materials, labourers, weigh batching, mixing, placing, vibrating,curing , dewatering if necessary etc complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement as per specification and direction of the engineer in charge. Note: cement considered for this items is @340 kg/cum and admixture is 0.5% of cement. Excess/ less cement and admixtures used as per design mix is payable /recoverable separately

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Applying priming coat:With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron /steel works

Painting metal works with 2 coats of approved quality enamel paint over a priming coat of iron primer after rubbing with emery paper and cleaning the surface including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc. complete as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge

Painting outside walls of surge shaft at all elevations with two coats of acrylic emulsion of approved quality anti algae weather proof paint including priming coat after rubbing with sand paper and cleaning the surface, labour, cost and conveyance of all materials, scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per specifications and the directions of the Engineer in Charge

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth levelThermo - Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more

Centering and shuttering including strutting, etc. and removal of form for all concrete works.

Treatment of cracks- Removing all foreign materials, loose concrete etc with chisel and hammer from crack surface so as to reach sound surface of concrete, cleaning the surface with compressed air and water jet, cutting out a slot of size 25mmx25mm using chipping machine, drilling 50mm deep hole at 2m intervals along the crack for fixing 12mm nozzle for grouting, removing all loose material by blowing compressed air and saturating slot with water and allowing water to soak into the concrete, priming the groove with XYPEX Megamix II or equivalent product with similar specification and certification which will act as bonding coat(application shall be performed with brush), filling the slot to surface with XYPEX Megamix II or equivalent mortar of 1 part clean water to 7 parts of Megamix II or equivalent while the slurry coat is tacky and blending by trowel for 10 to 15sec.

Providing and applying grout mixture consisting of XYPEX C 2000 NF or equivalent specification and Micro fine cement of grain size D95<20 microns (Alccofine 1108 SR or equivalent) in a ratio of 1:5

Supplying and fixing nozzle of size 12mm along with the length of chipped crack into the concrete mass

Applying slurry coat of XYPEX concentrate or equivalent at coverage area of 0.80 kg/cm2 over the repaired crack in 30cm width to make the whole surface water tight

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staricase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer- in Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done .

RR with Departmental. Stone - Random rubble masonry using departmental rubble in foundation and plinth including through and bond stone and levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) up to plinth level with:Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Dry stone pitching using departmental rubble including packing to compactness to lines and levels, labour charges etc. complete as per direction of Departmental officers at site.

Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 fine sand):Flush/ Ruled pointing

Providing and laying non-pressure NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 ( 1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete:600 mm dia R.C.C. pipe

Supplying, hoisting and placing in position MS angle iron fencing post at 2 m apart of height 2.30m (including embedded portion) using ISA 65x65x6 mm including all charges for cutting the angle into required length, levelling, drilling holes (minimum 5 nos in one post), providing 250mm long 25x5mm MS flat at bottom end, placing in position to lines and levels in foundation bed of CC M20 MSA 20 (50x50x50cm block), applying one coat of iron primer etc complete including cost of all steel items, formwork, concreting, consolidating, compacting, curing, labour and conveyance charges, all lead as per specifications and directions of the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm including strengthening with 2 mm dia wire or nuts , bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in- charge.Made of G.I wire of dia 4 mm. PVC coated to achieve outer dia. not less than 5 mm in required colour and shade

Add for using extra cement in the items of design mix over and above the specified cement content therein

Supply and usage of admixture at site including cost of admixture, conveyance charges, storage arrangements if necessary etc complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Cutting and removing of existing penstock pipes,steel plates and valves including conveyance up to 5km and stacking at designated place including labour charges, loading and unloading charges, transporting charges, equipments etc. complete and as directed by the departmental officers

Supply and Fabrication of steel plates at erection site conforming to ASTM A537 Class 1 or its equivalent IS specifications, including cost of steel other accessories etc carrying out stress relieving and all tests other than those for which separate items are included, shot/sand blasting and protective coating for inside two coats of Zinc rich primer and two coats of coal tar epoxy paint, for outside one coat of zinc rich primer followed by cement wash having a composition of cement, water and pottassium dichromate in 20:8:1 ratio first coat at workshop, insurance charges, all labour charges, transportation charges etc. complete as per specifications, approved drawings and as directed by the departmental officers.

Miscellaneous metal works for fixing anchor rods to the saddle plates including cost of rods, flat and other accessories, welding and fixing charges, applying one coat of primer etc. complete

Erection and installation of steel plates including conveyance to haulage position over saddle supports, placing in position, assembling, welding followed by second coat of cement wash having a composition of cement, water and potassium dichromate in 20:8:1 ratio, etc. complete as per specifications and approved drawings including labour charges, transportation charges, equipments, final protective coating, insurance charges etc. as directed by the departmental officers

Ultrasonic inspection of steel plate (ASTM A 537 Class I or its equivalent IS) at place of delivery/ fabrication, prior to fabrication of plates including all expenses for testing arrangements, labour charges etc. complete as per specifications, approved drawings and as directed by departmental officers.
