Flush pointing repairing work : Removal of damaged brick surfacing application of cement mortar of 1:2 proportion in expose brick pattern to match the existing surface. Application of brick powder, Acrylic polymer @ 5 to 10% by weight of cement to be mixed with the cement mortar. Complete work to be carried out as per to match the existing brick wall as far as possible. After completion of work apply curing compound on repaired surfaces. Actual quantity to be measured and paid. This item is to be executed for OLD SURFACE repair works

Exposed concrete repair works : Removal of damaged concrete, clean the rust on existing steel using wire brush. Apply one coat of rust remover and rust converter between 3 hours of gap. Apply cement slurry using bonding agent, repair the RCC bottom surface slab, haunches, tie beams and any others concrete members etc. using C:M 1:3 (chhaat plaster wherever required) Acrylic polymer to be mixed with glass fiber. Apply transparent curing compound after completion of work on repaired surface. After completion of work apply white cement brush to give expose effect matching with existing exposed surface.

FLUSH POINTING NEW SURFACE: Providing cement flush or raised pointing in 1:2 cm prop. Including the racking of joints and filling with cement sand mortar. (Matching to existing IIMA buildings.

CEMENT COATING: Application on damp walls of cement + chemical coating work as directed to receive painting.

Application of polymerized cementitious coating : After the crack repair, a non filled penetrating type low viscous sealer has to be applied to fill up the micro porosity of the substrate. Providing & applying Silicone paint SILRES® BS 290 of Wacker-1 litter & 13 litter solvent of recommended make or approved equivalent over exposed concrete and brick surfaces (Two coats on wet on wet applied) etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, so as original look does not change. The contractor shall furnish a minimum 5 years guarantee on stamp paper to the employer directly.

Providing & filling the clear silicon sealant of neutral grade of Wacker or equivalent approved by the Architect in the joints upto 15 mm between masonry and RCC externally to the depth of minimum 10mm over the pointing at all heights and levels including base preparation as per manufacturer's instructions, staging, cleaning etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Application of flexible liquid membrane coating after the crack repair, removing of loose china mosaic surface and to be rectified with polymer cementious mortar, after repairing filled with penetrating type of low viscosity sealer as a primer to be applied to fill up the micro porosity of the substrate. Two coats of cementious brush applied flexible coating with 57% active polymer content hsd to be applied in which 25gsm polypropylene based geo textile fibber cloth with min. 1000 mm width roll to be used bh making sandwich between two coats of flexible cementious coating. First level of water pond test to be done after this level of treatment. After the cementious coat &and fibber cloth application, a single component water based pure acrylic white liquid membrane coating to be applied in to 3 coats consisting of first coat of primer diluting it with of first coat f primer diluting it with water in ratio of 1:1,applying second and third coat by diluting 1 part liquid membrane and 20% water.

Removing of existing tarphelt/flexible liquid membrane maximum up to original surface to receive new treatment and debris to be removed outside the campus.

Providing & laying APP ( Ataxic Polypropylene Polymer ) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25 C.0.87 - 0.89 kg/litter and viscosity70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch ad sealing all joints etc. and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under: Joint strength in longitudinal ad transverse direction at 23C as 650/450/5 cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverses direction as 300/250 Softening point of membrane not less the 150C. cold flexibility shall be up to -2C when tested accordance with ASTM D-5147.

Washing the existing brick wall using water jet of adequate pressure to remove dust, dirt, algae fungal growth, patches etc. make it clean to receive silicon paint.

Washing the bamboo chick curtains using mild soap/detergent and other required chemicals as directed by the Engineer in charge. The curtain sizes range from 3' x 3' to 3' x 10' or smaller. The rates shall be per curtain.

Bird Net Fixing Work:

Providing & fixing in position bird net at various window openings made of approx. 15 ply ( thickness) nylon ultraviolet net approx. size 25 mm x 25 mm square gap as per sample black or white colour as per requirement. Net to be fixed on wall or RCC surface using S.S. screw or hooks of appropriate size and at appropriate distance as per site requirement. Actual area of the opening covered by a net with overlapping will be measured and paid. The work is at Ground floor to Third floor level or more level. Though it is written in the BOQ percentage rise per floor but for this item there is no extra pay percentage rise. Please consider this aspect before quoting the rate. Scaffolding extra as actual.

Removing the existing writing board and submitting it to the Maintenance Department or Store.

FT) 1.12, total solar energy rejection 44%. Method of measurement: Actual area to be measured and paid, Minimum measurement 4 SQ.FT. which means area below 4 SQ. FT. consider as 4 sq.ft and payment should be given for 4 sq.ft.
