MISC REPAIR AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES, SEPTIC TANK, MANHOLE, GULLEY TRAP AND REPAIRS TO SEWAGE LINES/ REPLACEMENT OF MANHOLES COVERS ETC AT BARRACKPORE UNDER GE BARRACKPORE

Systematically cleaning and de-silting/de-sludging of blocked sewage/ waste pipe line 150mm dia of any description by rodding with using steel rod or split bamboo sticks thoroughly from both sides between adjacent manholes still clear flow of sewage line is observed, passing knots, kamti and disc of required size or pumping out liquid waste /sewage, plugging and diverting the flow to the drain if necessary and stacking the removed silt/sludge in deposits as directed.

All as per Item No.1.00 here-in-before but 100 mm dia of pipe and any depth.

Cleaning of chocked / blocked WC, bath & kitchen trap etc upto IC / gully trap of any size including bailing out water/sewage manually and removing the deposited residual sludge/debris directly buried into the ground to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

De-sludging/de-silting and cleaning of existing manholes and gully traps etc of any depth including taking out sludge/ slit and other foreign materials from manholes and gully traps of any size and staking the removed silt/sludge deposited as directed by Engr-in-Charge including taking precautionary measured such as safety belts, cell torch for lighting inside the manholes and gully traps etc and sprinkling bleaching powder @50gm per Sqm on the slit/sludge to remove to avoid bad smell and disposal of slit/sludge by transport upto 50m complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE: Rate deemed to be inclusive of bleaching powder for disposal of slit/sludge. The measurement will be taken only sludge/slit portion as per site condition.)

Cleaning and de-sludging, excreta, night soil etc of existing septic tank, soak well and sewage sump completely of solid/liquid sludge by pumping or manually from inside the septic tank, soak well and sewage sump and removal of sludge depositing in excavated pits (required size and depth) exceeding 50m but not exceeding 100m. Top layers of excavation pit covered by layers of 150mm depth earth spreading with bleaching powder @ 200 gm per Sqm for disinfections purpose all as specified and directed. (NOTE :- Excavation of trenches, disposal of surplus soil and bleaching powder is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates however quantity of sludge portion only will be measured and paid. )

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone or concrete surface of wall etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brickwork with subclass 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick works of internal surfaces, finished the surface even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on other than fair faces of brick works of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation or for shafts, well, cesspits, pier holes etc and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copping of manholes / drains, benching and channel of manhole / drains, and also for bed blocks for embeddings MS rungs of manhole / septic tank including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforcement cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in cover slab of drain/manhole set in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE: Cost of form work is deemed to be inclusive of unit rate quoted by the contractor & reinforcement shall be measured & paid Separately.)

M&L for TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape as required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooping ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipe (salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar for 150mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to drain pipe 150mm bore including packing under and haunching against the side of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm bore salt glazed stone ware drain pipe grade 'A' laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar (1:1) complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

S&F for 32mm bore flexible pipe of PVC in waste pipe for WHB or sink including connection complete as in repairs all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes of 100 mm dia (internal), jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No.24.00 here-in-before but 75 mm dia (internal) all as specified and directed.

S&F for 100mm bore sand cast iron soil, waste and vent pipes in any length with or without ears with cement joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No.26.00 above but fixing only all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting holes into or through brick walls built in cement mortar and making good in cement mortar (1:3) or concrete (1:2:4) type B1 as required for superficial area exceeding 100 sqcm & not exceeding 150 sqcm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for 100mm dia grating doom PTMT (minimum weight 40gms) complete as in repair all as specified and directed.

S&F for 125mm dia grating doom PTMT (minimum weight 40gms) complete as in repair all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders, railings, framed brackets, walk ways, frame work of water tank and similar work conforming to Fe-290-0 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description etc complete all as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles (colour & shade as approved by GE) in vertical surface of size 300mmX 200mmX7 to 8mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match over and including 10 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for non skid (joint free) ceramic coloured (colour & shade as approved by GE) tiles of 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in skirting/dado/riser of step etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in colour cement to match over and including 15mm thick Screed bed or beading layer of cement mortar (1:6) for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for 10 Ltrs capacity, PVC valveless, syphonic action type, flushing cistern, low level, white, with inlet, ball valve, float and handle including brackets complete with all internal accessories and fixed to wall and jam nuts on both sides, PVC flush pipe 32mm dia 90cm long fixed properly to inlet of WC and making good to disturbed surfaces of wall or floor complete as in repair all as specified and directed.

S&F for vitreous china squatting pan 'Orissa' pattern, size 580x440mm white, with integral foot rests with P or S trap (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to trap, and to flushing pipe, anti-syphonage pipe etc complete including making good to floors with PCC bedding (1:5:10) type E2 using 40mm nominal brick ballast and connection to trap with cement mortar all as specified, and making good to floor including demolition of PCC / lime concrete bedding existing pan complete as in repairs all as specified and directed.

S&F for vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern) white with 'P' or 'S' trap type (excluding flushing cistern & flush pipe) including connection to trap & to flushing pipe, anti-syphonage pipe out in complete as in repair including making good to floor complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for PVC water closet seat, white/black colour as required, closed pattern with flat bottom and cover and mild steel chromium plated or aluminium hinging device complete as in repair all as specified and directed.
