Cement concrete work in pavement/hardstanding laid in panels of size as directed of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or lessincluding necessary form work at both side of road as required at site and directed by Engr in Charge. NOTE-1. All concrete shall be done by using computrized automatic concrete batching plant of min capacity 15-20cum/hr which shall be installed by contractor baching and mixing at site, calibrated and tested. The the batching plant shall confirm to IS 4925 have the facilities of data print out, presenting the quality to be weighng automatic cut off when the same is achieved. 2.General sample from fresh concrete shall be taken as per IS-1199 and cubes shall be made curved and tested at 28days in accordance with IS-516. 3.IN order to get a relatively quicker idea of the quality of concrete optional tests on beam for modules of rupture at 72(+2h) or at 7 days, or compressive strength test at 7 days may be carried out in addition to 28 days compressive strength test. For this purpose should be arrived at based on actual testing. In all cases, the 28 days compressive strength specified in table 2 shall alone be the criteria for acceptance or rejection of the concrete.
Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminious filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound Grade ‘A’, thickness of concrete slab 250mm including providing 20 mm dia mild steel dowel bars 50cm long (25cm in each slab) with ferrules, spaced at 300 mm centres, including boring form work and preformed filler for dowels, complete all as specified & directed.
Forming Construction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound grade ‘A’, complete all as specified & directed.
